Making Peace?

The class was informative if nothing else and you learned a LOT of info that you wish you had known before getting started as a Pokemon Trainer. Information such as that as long as you were an active Pokemon Trainer and your child’s father was as well you could demand child support.

Granted, that depended on things like you knowing who the father was, them having a valid trainer ID, and you both being active Pokemon Trainers.

Oh, and NOT falling victim to a **** clause.

But what seemed to happen more often is that due to male trainers faking their IDs, becoming full on outlaws, or the mother having no clue as to WHO the father was, or one or both of them retiring, child support was in practice rarely collected.

Not that things like that were really on your mind at the moment. Because with the immediate concern of not getting thrown out gone you were presented with the issue of THEM! The girl was glaring at you, but to your surprise Blue and the boy were chatting! As if they were old friends!

By the time the meeting was over, Blue was being outright friendly! “Trust me, I have been to Cerulean City plenty of times. I know a great place to get some pizza.” And apparently the two of them had decided on going out to lunch. Just great…

“I hope so. Trisha has been craving pizza every day but every place we try doesn’t seem to be up to her standards.” You lock eyes with the girl and she seems just as annoyed about this development as you. He seemed to be as unaware, or as uncaring, as Blue. “Has Amber started having cravings yet?”

“Not yet.” The two men start walking towards the exit, “When did Trisha start getting cravings?”

The two boys continue talking as if the two girls are not even there. Trisha gives you a shrug, “Pizza does sound REALLY good.” and then gets out of her seat, “Wait up Henry!” and runs to her baby daddy and grabs his arm.

You are hungry, and you don’t want to be left behind. With a sigh you get out of your own seat and follow the group. Besides, Blue DID say that he knew a good place.

Author's Notes: So, I have been sitting on these two chapters for months now. Just never got around to releasing them. Took quick look, thought they were good enough, and decided to put them out there. Now maybe I can get back into the groove and start writing again.
