"Wakey wakey," a soft voice said as Alex felt a soft hand on his chest before finally opening his eyes. "You slept the day away," Venessa said lying in bed next to him.

"As long as I get to wake up seeing you," he said as he tried to sit up, noticing Venessa looking away as she tried not to blush. "Don't do that," he said gently putting his hand on her cheek and turning her back towards him.

"Why are you so difficult," she said trying not to smile. "You make me feel like........."

"I always will," he said as he tasted her lips and pulled her in close. "And however long it takes, I will break through," he said as he placed his hand on her chest.

"You really need to let that go," she said between kisses.

"If it's no use, then what's the harm in trying."

"Listen to me," she said whispering in his ear. "I like you, which may make you feel safe and secure with me, but don't ever forget what I am," she said with a moan before kissing the side of his neck. "I am an animal, and even if I were to fall in love with you, all that would mean is you should fear me even more."
