The Vampire Next Door

It was a nice quiet neighborhood as Jerry and his wife Samantha sat on their back porch enjoying the beautiful weather. They had been married for only a few years as Jerry's wife died more than a decade ago. His son Alex was 18 and just graduated high school. Getting ready to go off to college in the fall.

Jerry met Samantha about five years ago and they quickly fell in love. She was sexy, funny, and had beautiful blonde hair. She never tried to be a replacement mother for Alex and the two of them got along very well. She was younger than Jerry by eleven years but older than Alex by ten so it wasn't too awkward or anything like that. Everything was pleasant in the family.

"Hey look, someone's finally moving into the old Hawthorn house," Samantha said looking next door at the moving truck.

"About time, guy's been dead for 6 years. Wonder who it is?" He said getting up to look when he saw a young woman wearing a wide-brimmed hat and sunglasses.

She had ruby red lips as she stood there telling the movers where to put everything. He couldn't make out much about her but after a moment the woman looked right at him. Feeling a little awkward he waved at her to try and make her feel welcome. Sam stood up too and also waved so her husband didn't look like some lone pervert or something.

The woman stood there and gave them both a smile before waving back and heading into the house. "Well, she seems nice?" He said.

"We'll have to go introduce ourselves once she's settled.
