8.2.e Tell them you're seeking a new life in the city

You are somewhat nervous, but decide to be honest with the guards. You explain that you're looking to start a new life in the city, to make a fresh beginning.

The guards look at you arrogantly. One responds with an intimidating voice:
"Very well. But what will you do in the city? What are your skills? We don't want any deadbeats who'll end up stealing in the streets because they're good for nothing."

For a moment, you carefully consider your response... You have many options.
You think about your previous life, filling out spreadsheets for a corporation. You consider your shapeshifting ability and how you might leverage it. You recall the fear when you were captured by goblins and caged by a slaver.
