He is there and he is awake

Walking inside the estates foyer you are greeted by Blue, standing with arms crossed glaring at you while also clearly trying not to glare. Since she is clearly waiting for you wave and say, "Good morning."

"You don't have to come looking for him." She says clearly assuming why you are here.

She's half right but you don't want to be the clingy boyfriend. "Actually I'm just here to get my other uniform, before my date with Lady Vatarie Black and White stripped me." You hold up your hands to show you weren't trying to antagonize her.

"Why do you keep pushing me and Edin together?" Her tone much like her look is fighting to not be aggressive.

You hesitate for a moment as you look around to make sure Edin isn't within ear shot. "Anastasia told me you were in love with Edin." Her glare was instantly turned into shock.

The shock resolved and she stopped trying to hold back her glare. "So she told you to –"

"Nope." You cut her off knowing what she is going to say. "I wouldn't let Anastasia use Edin to manipulate you even if she had asked. Edin told me that he can't have me tell him that I love him," her glare softens for a moment, "but when the two of you are together he is different." The moment extends further as you talk. "It's not my place to say what Edin needs but her deserves more than he will let himself have with me, and you deserve the chance to be what I can't be to him."

She chews her lip for a moment as she considers what you've said. When she opens her mouth to speak she sounds begrudging, "Anastasia knows you better than I thought." She sighs and relaxes. "Has she told you yet?"

It doesn't take much of stretch to figure she is referring to your **** Contract with Anastasia that she stole and gave to her mother, who gave it to the Queen. "Told me what?" Feigned ignorance seems smarter in the situation.

"Hi Christopher." Edin's voice surprised the both of you and you awkwardly shuffled as he approached. "Sorry I didn't come back last night." He hugs your side and kisses your cheek. You wrap an arm around his waist and give him a morning peck on the lips.

"You don't need to apologise for spending time with Blue. And speaking of I need to get my other uniform that I left here and go to my morning exercise. Mind keeping an eye on him Blue?" You ask with a raised eyebrow.

Blue smiles at Edin. "Always." She walks over and wrapped Edin in a hug as the two of you disentangle. As she does she puts an appreciative hand on your shoulder. She still didn't look that convinced by your words but you hope you can work on that with time. It would suck if Edin other partner didn't trust you.

"Breakfast first?" Edin asked you with his slutty little grin.

You looked over at Blue who appeared somewhat torn. "I need to get to my morning exercises but after that."

"Come on we can check the kitchen." Blue said dragging Edin away and pretending to not know what he was actually asking. Edin look a little befuddled as he was taken away, part of him clearly wanted to push the issue of the breakfast he wanted and not wanting to come out and say it. "Oh and Anastasia had your uniform taken to her room." Blue called out as she and Edin left.

That seemed like an odd place for your uniform to have been taken, but she was probably going to bring it to you in person. You walked to her room and saw her bodyguard standing outside her door. Does that woman ever sleep. "Good morning." You say softly.

"Her Highness is asleep." Was all the response you got.

You should leave and let Anastasia bring you the uniform but doing that would mean having to wear the clingy boyfriend title. Internal it may be but it still didn't feel great.

The door was opened and the bodyguard stepped aside. "She said you are always allowed into her room." She didn't look thrilled about this which explained why she had waited for so long.

"Thanks." You say now not having a choice but to go inside. The door was closed behind you and the near total blackness of the room took a few seconds to adjust to. Not using magic really slowed things down.
