Just One Word

That day began just like any other day...

Cliche beginning, I know. But just because it was a cliche didn't make it any less true. The day the app appeared on their phone was the day that everything changed. Well, changed for our main character anyways. The whole of reality would alter itself around our hero (or villain).

**Author's Note**
(The app described in this story has several rules, the first and foremost, is that no matter what, the app will only allow the user to change one word at a time. When that word is changed and processed through the app, all of reality will change for everyone except for the user. When I say one word, I mean one word. Indefinite articles (like "the" "and" & "a") are not allowed to be added. This story is supposed to function as a challenge to myself and other authors to come up with a single word that could alter someone (and reality by proxy) then explore that change without making them a genie/goddess/infinite power source. That said, the purpose of the app is to make minor changes at a time. If you want to make someone into a genie (or any of that other stuff) and get unlimited power, then be prepared to work for it.

I would adore collaborating with other authors to build a fun little world with this story. Please don't hesitate to reach out with questions or ideas you want to try. As long as you come to me with a positive mind, I promise to have an open one. This story will be LGBTQIA+ friendly and I will not allow any negative racial stories to be written. There is a far cry difference from someone who likes BBC or enjoys people of Asian ancestry (as a single example), or even changing someone's race, within the context of this story...and someone who uses the app reinforce degrading stereotypes or relive the past.
