Go immediately to the right

I know for a fact that there are guys hidden in the bushes around the glade. There always are. Mostly young guys who can’t help but stare at us girls, even though we are a distance away. All I have to do is search between the shrubbery and surely I will find someone.

So, shortly after passing through the torches, I stray right and head into the forest. I keep away from the shrubbery myself, but keep a close eye on it as I move along. Oh, how I would long to have a boyfriend. Some guy to hold me and talk to me, share our feelings with each other. But due to my looks none of the guys are interested in me. I once even tried to hint Kenric at a relationship with me. I thought he would bite, as he too had a hard time to find a partner. But even he wasn’t interested. Fortunately though, there is still the Samhain event. At least this way I can find at least some companionship once per year. I am not too fond of trapping a guy by having his Samhain child, but if I ever want to have a normal life, I’m afraid it is the only option left to me.

Now, if I am already the third girl going down the path, it is possible that the guys have already moved away from the edges of the glade and went deeper into the forest. If I want to catch me a man tonight, I am going to have to go where they are now, not where they were.

After a short while, I stray from the path to the right and head in a diagonal direction. Of the 3 bridges there are, the one bridge that only the girls can use is the one in the middle. The other two can be used by the guys. Some latecomers might still need to use that bridge on this side, and others who give up would use it to go back home. So, since that bridge is going to see a lot of male traffic, I feel it would be a good idea to search for a guy there

On my way to the bridge, I keep looking to my left and right, hoping to maybe find a guy sooner. But even after a lengthy walk, I am unable to notice any other people. It also doesn’t help that a cloud has moved in front of the moon and it has become incredibly dark. Fortunately, the sound of running water warns me when I get close to the river. When I get to the riverbank I study the river and it is a spot I know. The bridge is not anywhere close but further up. Darn, if only I was better able to see anything here this late.
