Life continues

Deciding to ignore the problem for the moment, Emily gets dressed for work. At the moment, she decides a conservative look would be good, so she goes for a sweater and jeans.

The day goes slowly at work. It takes forever for lunch to arrive. Emily wanders to the lunchroom, thinking she is now eating for two. She notices a new paper on the board, and looks at it. It is an announcement of the company picnic at end of week.

Emily feels getting out is just what she needs, and signs up to go. Her coworkers tell her the picnic is always a good getaway from work.

Over the next few days, Emily reads up on what she should be doing for her diet, and finds she wasn’t too far away from a healthy life. So she adjusted accordingly and tried to keep the scary thoughts away. Taking her pill every day helped a lot.
