Pregnant

Emily returns home, putting away her purchases. She thinks about how calm she is, considering she is waiting on a call from her doctor. These new pink pills must be working well.

Soon after, she receives the expected call from the doctor. The doctor asked why Emily thought she was pregnant. She described the increased breast size and apparent loss of body fat.

The doctor asks a few follow up questions about her sexual activity. Emily tells her she hasn’t had sex in a while. The doctor presses the question, and asks if she had sex about 12-13 weeks ago.

This brings Emily back to reality. She tells the doctor she did have sex about that time, at a wedding. The doctor asks if there were any other times, and Emily says no. The doctor replies her partner had gotten her pregnant.

The doctor told Emily she did the full range of tests on her blood, and found no other issues. Hoping, Emily asks if there could be any doubt. The doctor asked 2 questions, was Emily using any birth control at that time, and did her partner wear a condom?

Emily admits the answer to the first was no, and the second she wasn’t sure. The doctor scheduled a follow up appointment for next week.

After she hung up the phone, she considered her situation. First, she could not blame the best man at the wedding. She came onto him after having several drinks, and climbed into bed with him, knowing he was married and had 3 kids at home. That put a smile on her face, as sober Emily would never had done that while drunk Emily let him put another notch on his bedpost, fucking a baby into her.

Emily prepares for work, knowing she needed the job more than ever.
