Emely sat up from between Meli’s legs, wiping her face on the back of one arm as she glanced up at Rye. “I know you two bet on how sir would take me, but what exactly was the wager?” Dustin raised himself up on his elbows and nodded at the bunny. “Yea, I’m kind of interested too. I got the impression from your reactions it was something sexual, right?” Rye chuckled and held up what she was carrying - Meli’s tablet. “Well, that depends on how much of a pervert our resident nerd is. About two weeks ago, she insisted on us putting together lists of ‘research activities’” - and here the bunny made air quotes with her free hand - “that we would be interested in taking part in, as part of her ongoing drive to keep this a happy loving little lovenest. Which, by the way I entirely agree with. I don’t think I could handle being around people the way I am now if they were…” and here Rye’s voice trailed off, some of her old social anxiety returning.

Shaking her head to clear it, the bunny raised the tablet. “In any case, the bet was simple. Winner gets to pick an activity from the loser’s list to do, and gets control of who takes which roles.” Dustin was about to say something but Meli jumped to answer his question before he could voice it. “Obviously, neither of us would have put the other into a role they didn’t want to fill. We care about each other too much for that, and you know it beloved.” Emely raised a slightly nervous hand at that point. “Do you want me to leave while you settle your bet? Or watch? Or?” Rye shook her head. “Dunno yet, as I said, depends how much of a pervert Meli is. Knowing her she’s got plans that need more than just the two of us ladies involved. So, Meli, gonna unlock this thing so I can pick your payment?”

The Velca woman sighed, took the offered tablet and swiped it a few times before handing it back. Rye took it, skimmed a few entries, raised an eyebrow at her lover who just shrugged, and then scrolled on. After a moment she paused, scrolled back slightly and grinned. “Oh, this’ll work wonderfully. And it’s designed for four people. And… ah! I knew you couldn’t resist making an instructional holo diagram, you are a nerd!” Setting the tablet down in front of the others, she tapped a button on the screen and a tiny holo projected above the device, gently turning. Dustin glanced at it and shrugged. “Doesn’t look that big of a deal?” Rye’s grin grew wider. “Oh, sure. But I know you too well, Dusty. You’ve still got some human first-time sensitivities going on in that head of yours, so this is perfect. Honestly, I’m kinda impressed you had this as high in the list as you did Meli.”

“Would you please just tell me what is the big deal?” Dustin asked, getting more and more confused by the cryptic comments and nervous expressions. “It’s simple enough Dusty. Rye grinned and nodded. “That’s why I’ve set it up this way around. At the last question, the Rabyth blushed before adding “I kinda… sorta… want to try recording a few of the things we get up to cos of one of the things on my list. Well, we could do that particular thing with regular holos, but I think it’d be nicer if they were holos of us…?” Meli sighed at that request before nodding. “Of course, just as long as it’s crystal only and you give me a copy. It could be handy for my… research.” Dustin suspected that research wasn’t exactly what the Velca had in mind, but just nodded his own head in acceptance of Rye’s request. All three turned to Emely, and Dustin smiled at her “You’re fully entitled to say no, kitten. It’s your first day with us and…” The fox girl cut him off with a shake of her head, eyes sparkling. “I want a copy too Rye, and can you get closeups front and back with your recorder? I want to be the best I can be for Dustin, so I can study the recording in case he decides he wants me to also…” then she trailed off, glancing at Dustin and blushing furiously before adding in a much quieter voice “Meli told me about the human cultural thing about intimate first times being important, and I didn’t think I had any to offer our patriarch until just now.”
