Chapter 3
by 890tuber1
What does the new Dr. Joana Kekyll do next?
She goes to find out the extent of the changes
With each step, her curves swayed seductively. She cautiously disappeared out the lab door, barefoot steps echoing in the hallway.
Joana found her female counterpart’s wardrobe tucked neatly into a locker in the facility's locker, clearly marked with her name…well, her new name. Inside, a pristine set of lace lingerie seemed to be waiting for her, as if reality itself had prepared for her arrival. With a precision that felt oddly familiar, she slipped into the bra, which cupped her generous bust like it had been tailor-made, and a matching pair of panties that hugged her curves.
Next came a crisp white blouse, its fabric straining just slightly across her chest, followed by a sleek black pencil skirt that clung to her hips and thighs in all the right ways. She slipped on a pair of simple black flats and shrugged on her lab coat, smoothing it over her form with a mixture of pride and curiosity.
The RAC prototype, her miraculous invention, was carefully placed in her shoulder bag before she stepped out into the world.
This was no longer an experiment: it had become fieldwork.
The transformation had altered her locally - body, identity, even her memories had started to rearrange subtly, as if her mind was syncing with her new self. But now came the bigger question: how had the rest of the world adapted? Were there Joana Kekyll records in government databases like her new ID suggested? Did her colleagues remember her as she was now? Or worse, had she overwritten someone else’s life entirely?
She emerged from the lab facility into the bustling university hallway. Students passed her with casual nods, professors greeted her as “Dr. Kekyll” without hesitation. Everything appeared seamless… too seamless. Curious, Joana headed for the science building’s admin wing, passing by the large glass windows that reflected her striking silhouette. Each step brought a bounce in her bust and sway in her hips that still felt novel. She smirked - if this was reality now, she might as well enjoy the perks.
As she passed the front desk on her way out to the parking lot, the receptionist, Carol, greeted her brightly. “Dr. Kekyll!” The woman stood up from behind the counter, her sharp features softening into a smile. "Back from your departmental leave already?” Joana adjusted her bag strap, offering a warm smile. "Yep, couldn't stay away. Had a few things I wanted to check on."
Carol leaned forward slightly, resting her arms on the counter. "Well, everyone missed you. Professor Maddox even joked that the physics department’s collective IQ dropped ten points while you were gone." Joana chuckled, though her mind raced. Departmental leave? Another detail slotted into her new life. "Good to know I’m still useful around here," she said. "Mind if I ask - how long was I out?"
"Oh! About four weeks, I think? You said you were working on some… breakthrough? Something hush-hush." Carol leaned in conspiratorially. "You know, everyone assumed it was a vacation, but the way you came back? Hair glossier, skin glowing? Let’s just say, you're causing a bit of a stir." Joana’s cheeks flushed. Clearing her throat, she replied, "I suppose I needed some time to, uh, reflect and re-center."
"Whatever you did, it worked," Carol said, giving her a once-over. Joana noticed the receptionist’s gaze linger just a little too long. "You're kind of… radiating confidence. Like, really owning it." Joana smiled, her lips curling into a grin. "Well, thank you. I do feel… more myself than ever."
Carol’s voice dropped to a playful tone. "If you don’t mind me saying, this version of you kinda slays. I mean, I used to think science girls were all lab coats and no curves, but you: you're definitely defying the stereotype!" Joana laughed softly. "Glad to be an example that intelligence and beauty don’t have to be mutually exclusive."
Carol smirked before tapping a few keys on her computer. "Your schedule’s clear for the afternoon if you’re planning to stick around. Or, you might wanna swing by the faculty lounge. I heard Professor Maddox is in there right now. He always did have a soft spot for you, and rumor has it you're looking for more grant funding, right?"
Joana raised an eyebrow, amused. "Maybe I will," she said, starting to turn away. She glanced back over her shoulder. "Thanks for the update. And the compliments."
Carol smiled, her eyes twinkling. "Anytime, Dr. Kekyll."
The soft click of Joana’s heels echoed down the hallway as she walked away. Her hips swayed with growing confidence. The changes were deeper than skin. There was something thrilling about how easily the world had adapted to her, how naturally she slid into her new role.
But there was still data to collect.
What does Joana do next?
