Yeah avoiding things isn't going to work in the long run

You leave the changing room and note more than a few women outside looking at you with curiosity. You ignore them and head to your room. It's still kinda early in the night, dinner only being two or three hours ago, so as you go you see more people around. That kinda confirmed that there isn't a rec room around, that's a bit of shame honestly. Not having anything like that on the academy grounds means you'll have to go into the city. Right Lucia was supposed to give you a tour today before, well before. Maybe she'd be up for it tomorrow. You stop at the bottom of the stairs, you can think about a tour tomorrow right now you have until you reach your room to come to a decision.

She was right about being the only honest person in your life though she was also using that to manipulate you into picking her, though maybe manipulate isn't the right word. Clare the Second however was dragging you into a religion as a figure of importance, however considering what the Goddesses end goal is having an organised religion aiding you with resources and possible intel is an advantage that is hard to ignore. Clare the Second is probably doing this as role-play but also as a way to help you within the rules of the game.

Personally you like Clare the Second more, Clare the First is very direct and extremely kinky and you have more than enough of that in your life right now. Clare the Second may be repressed and secretly as kinky as her sister but she was cute and it is hard to shake the memory of the maternal love she bombarded you with at the Church. Though again on the other hand this isn't a short term thing this is for the rest of your life, repressed kinkiness might get hard to live with for the rest of your life. Whatever Clare the First's faults you're confident she would put the effort in to get along with you even if you two didn't get along naturally which you probably will, from your interactions with her you do seem like a good match. Plus Clare the First does believe you are the best match for her intellectually, if not sexually.

You reach the second story and think about the long term outcome of your choice. Clare the First is focused on winning and she is clearly the more overtly domineering of the two though without Clare the Second's sexual repression that could change. Clare the First said you were roughly the sixth strongest, that means she believes that if you pick her her sister won't pick one of the potentials that can outright crush you, or that Clare the First is confident you can get much stronger. That both of the are going after you first, assuming none of the other potentials had already rejected being their champions that is a pretty good confirmation of their confidence in your ability to grow.

If you don't pick Clare the Second that means logically she will continue her Mother of All role-play when she picks her champion that means the Church is going to be against you. Inversely there is no direct negative consequence if you don't pick Clare the First, other than her tell her own champion the truth of the situation. It might not impact much but knowing the edges of the Goddesses game and having a Goddess willing to stretch so long as she wins might be a disadvantage for you. As far as which is worse, well you have an in at the Church so you might be able to at least a little mitigate the damage Clare the Second could do, if you go all in you might even **** a schism between her chosen champion and yourself as the religious figure, so long as the rituals still work without her supporting you.

You reach your floor and start towards you door. You're almost out of time and this hasn't helped. You started with Clare the First but considering the long terms have a Church moving against you could be crippling. Shame Clare the First didn't role-play as a Goddess, though that would make the main reason you favoured her redundant, having someone totally honest with you after eighteen years of being misled by your father, everyone who taught you, all the estates staff, it's something hard to deny affects you.

You insert your stone and grab the handle to you door. Opening it a crack your check the rooms contents. You didn't do this with either of the Goddesses so you aren't sure what they feel like in your perception but you do feel two other, one intimately familiar another only vaguely.

You open the door and see Blue and Edin in his bed together. Edin was hugging up to Blue and both were asleep. You looked around for evidence of the Goddess but you couldn't see any, provided you would recognise them if you did. You close the door behind you softly but feel Blue wake up. No she was awake when you opened the door but only when you opened the door.

"Sorry to wake you." You say quietly.

Blue sighs softly. "I was just sneaking in some more time with Edin." She carefully pulled herself out of Edin's grasp and stood from the bed. She was wearing a light blue camisole, a design you didn't know existed in this world.

"You know you can spend as long with him as you want." You say remembering Anastasia telling you Blue was in love with Edin and the feeling wasn't mutual.

She looks a little annoyed at you for a moment but covers it. "He wants to be yours."

"He could want more." You say hoping that you weren't crossing a line. Blue doesn't say anything but you see her aura flicking, if that is positive or negative you aren't sure, her aura is obtuse to your observation. Then you remember that she stole the **** Contract from Anastasia and gave it to her mother and the Queen and get a little more protective, it isn't just your name on that contract, working or not. "Are you staying the night?"

"Would you let me?" Blue asked picking up on the protectiveness.

You look at her for a moment then say, "Edin looked comfortable with you and it's his room to." Blue had acted out of loyalty to her mother and this was a way to test Anastasia and your relationship, from your understanding of the **** Contract the latcher spell was what mattered and that occurs on signing after that it's really just a piece of a paper so she hasn't put Edin at any risk. Though from what you over heard she didn't necessarily know that.

Blue looks from you then at Edin. "Anastasia expects me." She didn't move so she wanted to stay with him.

You shrug, "She has Black and White, I'm sure she wouldn't mind you spending some more time with Edin."

She looks back at Edin then carefully get back under the covers. You are impressed by Edin's ability to sleep through disturbance. You were quiet but you were still talking about him and mentioning his name.

You pull off your clothes leaving your underwear on for the sake of Blue and get into your own bed. The Goddesses haven't made any indications they are still around, maybe they decided to leave you alone for tonight, Clare the Second had said you could wait until tomorrow to make your decision.

Or they were waiting until you were alone again. Either way you were exhausted after today and needed sleep, though as you lay in bed there was an absence of a warm body you had gotten used to over the last few days, also this was the longest you gone without some form of sex in days and it was hard to put that out of your mind. Hopefully you'll be able to sleep with handling that. Maybe you should have been a bit more open at the baths. Wow you really were horny.
