“The king does not acknowledge our victory, but despises it without any treasure.” Father told me.

“He is a fool, our survival was more important, our winning the war was the most crucial thing.” I said, finding it difficult to keep my anger in check.

“Another reason that we need a new king, a new leader.” Said my father. “What we should do next is bolster our defences and train new recruits.”

“I agree, the stronger we become now, will ensure that we can fight off any threat like with the orcs.” I said.

With that, I assisted in the training of new recruits from the next day onwards for the next few months. Despite the unease from the king at our handling with the treasure from the war, we remained relatively I disturbed in our regime of the wolvir warriors.
