Velvet Vixen clamps her eyes shut again, steeling her nerves, trying to shove the sensation out of her mind.

You can beat this… You just have to endure… Just—hold on…

But then—

She feels it.

A slow, subtle shift in the tension across her chest.

The corset—the one tightly bound to her frame all night, hugging her like armor—is suddenly looser. Barely, but unmistakably. Like something is unthreading it from the inside.

Her breath catches.

“No… No, no, no—”

She cranes her neck as much as she can, eyes wide now, and sees the glittery purple edge of her cape—or what’s left of it—dangling limply from one of the vine-tendrils behind her, half-melted, the fabric curling as it dissolves beneath a slow drip of amber nectar.

The realization hits her like a kick to the chest.

The plant isn’t just feeding off the glaze.

It’s eating her clothes.

Bit by bit.

Layer by layer.

A vine slithers across her hip, curling beneath the loosened hem of her corset with curious, deliberate ease. Another glides along her thigh, where her boots now shimmer with weakening seams. The glaze is acting like bait—softening her costume and preparing her for the final course.

Velvet Vixen begins to shake—not just from the pleasure or fear, but from desperation.

“If I don’t get out soon…”

She squirms, feeling the corset start to peel away at the sides, ivy sliding into the gaps, touching her skin.

“…there won’t be anything left to protect me.”

And once it’s gone…

There will be nothing between her and the vines.

And she won’t be able to resist.
