“Welcome back, ladies and gents, it is I, your wonderful Host Cassandra. Previously, we met our nine lovely contestants who will be vying for the love and affection of this season’s Master, Mark. Now, ladies, I know you have a lot of questions, and I will try to explain. I will also be lifting the talking restriction that is on all of you, though I suggest you refrain unless you have something pertinent to add or ask, and not simply to complain or yell, as I will mute you again if need be.” Cassandra waved her hands at the contestants, and they all felt a weight lift off of them, allowing them to speak, though none opened their mouths to do so.

“Now, from the top. Hello everyone, and welcome to this season of Harem Hotel: Missed Encounters. For those of you who don’t know, Harem Hotel is an interdimensional reality TV show with the contestants competing against each other for their position in their Master’s harem. In addition, whoever places first will win a wish. This wish is all-inclusive with nearly no limitations and will work based upon your intent, so no Djinn or Monkey’s Paw twisting to worry about. With only three exceptions. One, no killing. Two, you can’t leave the harem or cause another member of the harem to leave the harem. Three, no reversing the consequences or transformations experienced from participating in the season. Other than that, there are essentially no limits.”

“Umm… Transformations? You mentioned polls for those as well,” questioned Merida.

“You are jumping ahead just a little, but I will be getting to those, so don’t fret too much. Now you will be ranked within the Harem based upon how many Victory Points or VP you have obtained. You can obtain Victory Points primarily in one of two ways. The first is to do well in challenges each round, which will happen at the end of each round. The second way is to be intimate with the Master and please him.

“You expect us to simply have sex with this guy we hardly know?” Talia scoffed.

“Eventually, yes, though you don’t actually have to have sex to earn points, but that is one of the ways to earn the most. Simple things will do it, like kissing, and even really meaningful and romantic moments. This is about building the bond between you and your Master, so hopefully you get to happily ever after. What that looks like will, of course, be up to you.”

“Now, back to VP. Any and every contestant that reaches and maintains at least 100VP at the end of the season will be declared a winner and receive a favorable position in the Master’s Harem. They will also receive an exit transformation to ease the transition back to their lives in their new role. Only the woman with the most VP, though, will earn the wish. Now, for those with less than 100VP but not negative VP will receive a less favorable position within the harem based upon their VP Total. So even if you don’t think towards the end that you can break that 100 threshold, there is still a reason to get as close to it as you can. These individuals will also receive an exit transformation that will cause them to be more in line with and accepting of their new role. Finally, those with negative VP at the beginning of any challenge or at the end of the show will receive an immediate elimination transformation. Trust me, you do not want to be eliminated, as no matter your final placement, each of you is irrevocably bound to your Master for the rest of your lives. Moreover, should one of you be eliminated, someone you know and care about will be selected to replace you.”

“WAIT! You would bring our loved ones into this!” Exclaimed Chloe.

“Unfortunately, yes. If it were up to me, I would select other replacements. But it was determined by the higher-ups that you ladies would need a proper stick to motivate you to participate since I prefer to use a gentler approach than many hosts.” This proclamation caused the ladies in the room to look at each other with a sense of unease. “Now, I am hoping none of you will be eliminated, so to make sure you are informed, the primary way of losing VP is trying to harm either your Master, the Host, or another of the contestants, unless, of course, it is consensual or sexy in some way. The second thing is anything that would substantially cause damage to your relationship with the Master. This could be permanently losing his trust or causing him some sort of trauma.” Cassandra stood up, and in her hands appeared a tray containing ten phones.

“Now, if you would each take a phone when I come by. Mark your phone is the one with the gold case. These phones serve a few purposes. First, they have everyone’s phone numbers in it, including mine, but be warned, **** of this privilege will be punished. In addition, Mark your phone will also have the ability to know where each of your harem members is, at least which general location at the hotel, so you can find them if you are looking for them. Ladies, don’t bother trying to leave the phones in your rooms either. They are magic and will follow you if you try to ditch them, lose them, or they are taken from you by anyone but the Master or myself. Their second function is to give you access to our game store, where you can purchase a large number of amenities. You can make these purchases with your Bonus Points or BP, which can be earned by placing well in the Best Girl Poll, each round with a minimum of 500 BP a round, and through various bonus activities here on the hotel resort.”

“Um, what are we going to have to buy for ourselves? Like, will we have to take care of our own food and clothing? Since I don’t really want to stay in this dress forever.” Ellie asked

“So all your regular food, drinks, and toiletries are provided free of charge, for clothes we brought a small selection of your own clothes which you will find in your rooms, though any additional outfits you need will require you to purchase them.” This reassured Ellie, Sam, and Laura a bit, as none of them was really looking forward to having to wear their current outfit all the time.

“Now, final bits of housekeeping before we get to the transformations. Each round, each of you will have a date night with your Master. It is up to you as contestants to plan the dates with the options available here, though with enough BP, just about anything is possible. At the end of this date night, you and the Master will retire to the Master’s suite, where you are both required to sleep in the Master’s bed; beyond that, what happens in the suite is up to the two of you. As for everyone else, the other eight of you will be sharing a room with another contestant each night, and the contestant with the Master will swap rooms with the next one to have a date night with him. This is so that each of you can better get to know more of your fellow harem members. Now, unfortunately, we are running over, so transformations will have to hold off until next time. Don’t forget to tune in.” Cassandra said as she waved to the empty theater with her last line.
