Walking the crowded streets of Astoria people saw me immediately steered away from me, calling me intimidating was an understatement.
"It that a golem?"
"he looks like a demon"
"Should we call the knights?"
Stares and whispers came my way but ignored it all as I continued my walk. Any knights who saw me was well aware and did not even dare to try to interrupt me after watching the fight. Seeing myself only making a scene I ducked behind an alley to avoid the stares
"P-Please sir I don't have anything of value!" a pleading voice of a little girl was what I heard despite the bustling streets of the town. I turned a corner and slightly sped up my walking deeper into an alley to find a small girl, perhaps eight or nine, pinned to the wall against her will by three thugs. She was wearing dirty ragged clothes, barefoot and wrapped in a beaten old cloak, did little to conceal her malnourished frame, But it was her eyes that drew my attention—the empty sockets where her orbs should have been.
They were all wearing similar clothes, clad in worn leather, their faces covered by masks, and one of them held a rusty blade to the little girl's throat.
"We aren't looking to rob you... we were hoping to sell you to the orcs" one of the thugs said whiles pointing a knife at the girl
The girl let out a small whimper, I suddenly grabbed the knife and crushed it like cardboard, the first thug looked and saw me as I stared down at him with fury in my eyes, I slashed at his arm, slicing deep. He screamed in pain, clutching the bloody stump. the second thug 'tried' to throw a punch at me only to eat one himself (And a few teeth along). I grabbed him by the throat and slammed him against the alley wall, his feet dangling. He choked and gasped, clawing at my iron grip. Tears streamed down his face, wet himself in terror, the warm liquid trickling down his legs as he voided his bowels. I squeezed tighter, my fingers sinking into his flesh. I pulled out the sword, its crimson energy pulsing ominously. The thug's eyes widened in terror as he saw the blade hovering mere inches from his face.
"Please, no! I'll never do it again!" he begged, his words strained by the grip on his throat. The crimson blade pierced his skull with a wet crunch, blood and brain matter spraying out the back. His body went limp, hanging lifeless in my grasp. I dropped him to the ground, his body landing with a thud.
"YOU ASSHOLE" the last thug and the biggest one in the gang pulled out a knife and 'tried' to stab me only to have his arm bend in an unnatural manner. The third thug stood frozen in terror, watching his companions fall. He tried to run, but I was faster. I grabbed him by the back of his neck and slammed him face-first into the wall, breaking his nose. He slumped to the ground, whimpering. I pressed my foot against his head. He sobbed uncontrollably, begging for mercy. "Please, I have a family!"
I ignored his pleas and pressed the foot against his head. I growled, pressing harder. "Die knowing that your family will be better off without you." I pressed down with all my might, feeling the bones crack and the skull cave in. The body twitched for a few seconds before going still.
I turned back to the first thug, who was stumbling away, still screaming. I grabbed him by the throat, slamming him against the alley wall.
"P-please, I'm sorry! Please don't kill me!" he begged, backing away. I cut his eyes out. He screamed in agony, clutching his bloody sockets. I let him fall to the ground, writhing in pain. I grabbed his head with both hands and twisted violently, the sickening crack echoing through the alley. His body crumpled to the ground, dead. I would cut his dick off and choked him to **** with it but I didn't want to do that in front of a child even if she couldn't see.
The little girl collapsed to the ground, shaking uncontrollably. I gently lifted her up, careful not to aggravate her situation. Her skin was feverish, a telltale sign of infection setting in from her untreated eye wounds. I needed to get her to a healer quickly. I scooped her up in my arms, her small frame fitting easily, and headed towards the nearest town.
"Thank you for helping me." Her voice was small and weak, but filled with gratitude. "M-mister, are you an angel?"
I smiled gently as I carried the girl through the streets, ignoring the frightened stares and whispers from passersby. "No, little one. I'm not an angel. Just someone who couldn't stand by and watch evil happen."
