The Knight's Duel

BGM

Me and everyone present to the previous meeting was now moved to a nearby area. Looking up across the open arena and up to where the princess's over hanging viewing balcony stood, her balance hosting worry for the event at hand. The entire arena despite being large was hushed and still as the two combatants stood on opposite sides, the tension thick like fog for the results of the two warriors.

The knight drew out her sword that seemed to be hidden by a wind that reflected the light making the blade invisible, whiles I stood in silence, my stance ready for any oncoming attacks.

"Arm yourself it would only disgrace my honour to fight against someone unarmed" Astoria warned with venom present in her voice.

"It would be a one sided fight...for you at least" I warned wit dread that appeared to affect the female knight.

"YOU WILL SEE THAT I AM MORE THAN A MATCH FOR THE LIKES OF YOU!" Astoria Exclaimed, rushing in with an attack and swung her sword down on my head only for it to miss. Alarmed by the sudden movements, the knight backed away for a few meters, her sword still pointed at me. A cold sweat formed on her forehead as she gazed up and locked eyes with me readying for a counter attack that never came. I only stood there unfazed by her attack.

"Is that all?" I asked bluntly, uninteresting by what was going on.

"Not yet..." Astoria silently snarled under her breath, the grip on her sword tighten. She launched another attack, swinging her sword at me only for me to dash back at great speed, she tried again only to be met with the same result. While she was attacking me, I observed her closely taking in her styles of attack, the tactics she used as well as the forms and directions of her blade. Her style of fighting consisted of rushing tactics, using her speed to attack enemies before backing away and repeating.

"Your good on your sword and fast on your feet... but lacks discipline" was what I said as I dodged another on coming attack from the female knight.

Breathing heavily as the sweat poured down her face with a gleam, the knight looked almost in awe as not one of her attacks landed let alone made contact with me, standing her ground she took a deep breath exhaling as she lifted her sword close to her, readying a fighting stance.

"Perhaps I should fight you with my full strength" The knight said as the wind of her sword grew longer.

"Perhaps you should" I replied with boredom, still uninterested by the fight.

Astoria narrowed her eyes, her grip tightening on her sword as the wind swirled around it, growing longer and more intense. "You mock me, barbarian! But you will soon rue the day you underestimated Lady Astoria Zuberg!"

"BLUE AIR: WIND STRIKE HUNDRED SLASHES!" Astoria shouted as she rushed in with a barrage of attacks, her sword slashing furiously to the point that it looked like multiple winds was coming at me, the attack itself resembling a tornado.

I was caught off at first but quickly held my forearms up for defence in a boxer like stance. The knight's **** continued on hoping to tire me out but to her surprise I had not moved from where I was standing, not even an inch.

My forearms had not taken any damage, my biceps only sustaining very minor scratches. As the knight continued on her fruitless endeavour I stared silently at the knight before me, acknowledging her passion, her will, but most importantly her strong resolve.

"AHHHHHH!" Astoria went on, still to no avail as I was too powerful, the worse part of it was, I was not even using a small portion of the strength

The spectators watched on with awe as the fight continued on, but what they all never expected was my **** durability, not once had I lifted even a finger to fight back.

"Amazing..."

"His defences are unmatched"

"He has not even began retaliating"

Princess watched the spectacle before her, hands clasped together on her chest.

Breathing heavily, exhausted and having almost reach her very up most limit, the knight dashed back a few feet away and fell on one knee, using her sword she tried prompting herself up. She looked at me to see that none of her attacks worked. I relaxed my form, arms down yet still very diligent to anything the knight could pull.

"I implore you to stand down knight, you are no match for me" I warned in an almost threatening manner.

"I will not give in until I defeat you..." The knight slowly stood up and looked down on her sword

she held her sword up, readying another attack

"BLUE AIR: WIND STRIKE HUNDRED SLASHES!" Astoria shouted as she rushed in attack with a barrage of attacks

Having been fed up with her shenanigans, I forcefully thrust my arm into the centre of her attack. Claw and sword clashed like lightning as sparks flew in all directions, the sword acting like the unstoppable **** just barely getting by and the claw - the immovable object that showed no signs of breaking.

"AHHHH!" Astoria let out a war cry that echoed through the arena, pushing past her limitations but amidst her attack something was going to give. Her sword had reached its limit and a small crack formed around the edge, her eyes widened and as if time had slowed down, the knight tried to back away but it was too late...

The sword broke in two...

The knight's sword struck my claw with such **** that the sword was left with clean cut, severed like paper, a small shockwave of energy erupted that blew a gust of wind throughout the arena.

The dust settled and the knight herself lay crumpled nearby, her armor stripped away and her pride shattered along with her blade. The sight of the knight lying nude and helpless before you was something I had not expected. Her muscular body glistened with sweat in the arena light, her breathing ragged as she struggled to catch her breath. The knight laid there on her back, staring up at the sky, her face covered in sweat and her body marked with small cuts and bruises. Her right leg bent awkwardly. She looked up at me, her green eyes wide with a mix of humiliation, and something that almost resembled lust. Around the arena, the crowd erupted into a chorus of gasps and cheers, the princess herself standing up in shock at the outcome.

"I... I yield," she managed to say, her voice barely above a whisper.

Princess Anna called out to her knights. "Attend to Knight Astoria at once!"
