Transformation Round 1

“Wait, what?!” Chloe squeaked.

“Transformations!”Ava continued grandly. Her cheer had seemingly returned, or at least some passing veneer of it. “Every week each contestant will be given a modification chosen from one of the three transformation paths unique to them! These changes will help each of you find and fill your own special niche in the harem.”

“What if we choose none of them?” Robin asked flatly, her arms crossed.

“Fortunately, it's not up to you girls, it's up to our lovely audience! Each week, following the weekly challenge, our viewing audience will be asked to vote on their favorite transformations for each of you!”

“You mean our bodies are in the hands of a bunch of horny freaks?!” Bailey raged.

“Not just your bodies, but potentially your behaviors and even your very minds!” Ava elaborated much too cheerfully. “Now, a few ground rules for our audience.”

“Transformations will be determined by a simple majority. In the case of ties or an extremely close vote the Host, that's moi,” Ava placed her hand on her bosom while fluttering her eyelashes flirtatiously, “can choose to give the contestant both transformations or combine the effects of them. Furthermore, as Host, I have a veto that I can exercise at my discretion once per voting round.”

Ava turned towards Robert.

“What do you think Master? Any questions thus far? Any specific changes you'd like to see to these lovely women?”

“If I'm supposed to get to know these women,” Robert began hesitantly, “shouldn't I get a chance before you begin to change them into someone else?”

Ava let out a short tittering laugh.

“Oh dearest, we aren't completely turning them into someone else! Think of the transformations more as tweaks, or adjustments. We usually don't completely rewrite anything, we're just tuning some settings up or down.”

Robert looked doubtful, but Ava pressed on.

“Well, let's get right to it! We've been working from stage right to stage left all day so I see no reason to stop now. Robin Levy! Let's see what's potentially in store for you this first round!”

As Ava was speaking, a projector came to life, displaying a picture of Robin and listing her possible transformations.

It's Not A Phase: Robin had a Gothic period during high school and this brings back that timeless look. Robin's hair will turn black, and she'll gain permanent Goth eye shadow. (Goth)

Put Your Face On: Robin is given a magical makeup case, that allows her to pick her eye shadow, eye color, and hair color for the day. Whatever look Robin picks will have a slight influence on her personality and/or mood for the day, based on stereotypes associated with that style. Robin must pick a new look every morning before she leaves the room she slept in, and she can't repeat looks during the week. (Stylist)

Queen of the Night: From sundown to sunup, Robin's senses, strength, and stamina are greatly enhanced. (Horror)

“What do you think of your options Robin?” Ava beamed, but the predatory look had returned to her eyes.

Robin frowned. “What are the words in the parenthesis at the end of each description?”

“I'm glad you asked! Each of your transformations falls into one of three paths, and those are the names of each path. Think of them as a hint of where that particular path will eventually lead. Of course, the audience is under no obligation to continually vote for the same path round after round. Now, are there any of these transformations that you'd personally prefer?”

Robin ignored Ava's question.

“What the hell does a 'Horror' path lead to?”

Ava ignored Robin right back as she twirled her finger, then pointed it at Robin.

“If I had to pick, it'd be 'Queen of the Night.' The implications of a horror path terrifies me, but at least that seems more beneficial than the other two options.” Robin glared at the Host as she was once again magically compelled to answer. Ava pointedly avoided her gaze.

“Honestly girls, this would all go so much smoother if you were all just a little more cooperative. How about you Master? Do you have a preference for Miss Levy's first change?”

Robert hated the way Ava kept emphasizing “Master.” She said it with a semi-sneer, and he wasn't sure if she was trying to impress his new role upon him, or just making fun of him. At first he just slowly shook his head, until he saw Ava begin to twirl her finger again.

“I don't love the idea of a 'Horror' path either, but the other two transformations either permanently mark her, or mess with her mind” He quickly stated of his own volition. “I guess I'll pick 'Queen of the Night' too.”

Ava flashed Robert a sweet smile that didn't quite reach her eyes, before turning back to the girls.

“Moving on to Miss Taylor! Let's see what the board has in store for her!

“'Play Your Part' for me as well. The other two just sound cruel”

Ava rolled her eyes in an exaggerated fashion.

“You don't always have to agree with the girls, Robert.” She moved on down the row. “Ahhhh, Miss Layton. Let's see what awaits you.”

“I'd pick 'I've Got a Hunch'” Cassandra answered without prompting. She didn't want to have to experience Ava magically forcing her to talk ever again.

Ava simply acknowledged her with a slight nod.

“Thank you Miss Layton. Master?”

Robert's lips pursed as he looked at Cassandra thoughtfully.

“I'd also pick 'I've Got a Hunch.'”

“Really?” Ava's smile slipped slightly, as she twirled her fingers and pointed at Robert.

“I'd pick 'Red Carpet Look.' She's kind of a mess right now, and I think she'd clean up nicely.”

Robert's eyes went wide as he clamped a hand over his mouth. He had been thinking that, but he didn't want to offend the poor woman by saying it! Cassandra fixed him with a small, sad look, before she dropped her head and stared at the floor. What had he done?

“Like I've always said, honesty is truly the best policy.” Ava seemed completely unbothered. “Your turn Miss Bridges.”

Robert sighed. Sarah was one of the only women he actually knew in the harem, and he couldn't imagine the stern department head he knew acting like any of those changes. At least Ava had finally dropped the sneer while addressing him.

“The last one,” Robert answered. “I don't know that much about Sarah outside of work, and now I'm curious.”

Sarah's face visibly blanched at that, but Ava was already moving on.

“Our last two contestants! Let's see what awaits the fiery Miss Winters!
