Straight ahead, the Dark Forest

You travel through the Dark Forest you look at the darkened trees, their trunks are twisted together and their bark is blackened. The sunlight is scarce, swallowed by the canopy above, and after a few hours, you find a glade with a pond, however, you listen to a noise, something is close to you... Your magic is ready, this creature will not surprise you.

A big slime tries to swallow your body, but you are prepared, your hands start to burn and you release a simple but effective spell. The slime explodes and it's destroyed, but you are covered in purple slime.
The acids hurt your skin, but you can endure it, it's not poisonous.

You can continue to travel to the Mountains of Ash, or you can clean your body in the pond.
