You finally begin to come to. To rouse from your **** state. Your head is pounding. As your eyes flicker open, they reveal nothing but darkness. A dark shroud encircles your vision, consuming everything with its blackness.

You struggle and squirm. It becomes obvious your hands are behind your back, immobilized and tied together. You try to make a sound and realize you have been gagged. A muffled "mmmph"escapes you as you realize you have no voice and you must scream.

Something strikes you along the side of your abdomen. "Shut up." a gruff, female voice commands. You feel in the pain and see stars but dare not give your captors the pleasure of hearing your cries of pain.

You do so and try to take stock of your surroundings by feeling alone. You are obviously and painfully seated. The tell-tale jostling of a moving vehicle betrays your sense of safety as you are hauled to God knows where.

The vehicle you're in finally rolls to a stop after some time. You are wrangled out of the vehicle and pressure is placed on the back of your head until your feet touch the ground, then the pressure is removed. Someone grabs you by the cuffs. "Walk forward."

You oblige, not wishing to irk the ire of your captors at the moment. "Small step up." Your feet move in accordingly. At least whomever currently holds you has the decency to tell you about the step.

You hear something roll along the floor and the pressure pushing on your shoulders. "Sit, and lean forward." The voice commands. You do so and feel your restraints being removed. As you regain precious freedom in your arms, you rub your wrists before you feel a sack being pulled up from your head.

Your eyes open. Blinding light shines down upon you from above while film/studio style lighting beams from ahead. As your eyes adjust to your new surroundings and you move your head, you make out a semicircle of bodies that makes up the panel of individuals before you.

They are shrouded in darkness. You can't make out any of their features as you are blinded by the lights and they are shrouded in darkness.

"Jack Smith. You have hacked into the Alternate World Integration Organization, an authorized government agency. You have committed a federal offense of the highest order. What do you have to say for yourself?" A new voice speaks, low and commanding.

"Jussst ssssend him through the portal." A serpentene voice hisses out "We wasssste our time." The voice leaves you no doubt that it must be a monster girl. So that means... Fucking AWIO.

"That is for this council to decide." The same voice says. "Now speak if you wish to remain in this world." The same voice demands.
