Chapter 22 by TheTruePenguin TheTruePenguin

Can everybody stop making bad choices!

Sugar Rush!

As soon as he came out the door, Trevor made a beeline for Ty Lee, still munching away on her chocolate, although she'd reached the feet so whatever effect it had would probably last for a while.

"Ty Lee, please stop eating that! It's got magic in it, that's what's making you so hyper." Trevor tried to explain, but Ty Lee stop listening after 'stop eating'.

"I don't wanna, it tastes really good." Ty Lee whined, and as if to spite him, shoved the remainder into her mouth, already reaching into her bag for something else.

"Magic? So even the food can do things to us? This place sucks!" Ino shouted, already reaching towards the bag in Ty Lee's hand, only for the pink girl to pull away with a guarded look.

"Like what kind of magic are we talking about here? Not to be devil's advocate, but I feel like my last Transformation was better than most of you guys'. So long as I know what I'm doing, I wouldn't mind it." Pixie pointed out, reaching for a bag of gummy bears in Ty Lee's hand as the girl danced away, head twitching between the two blondes.

"Well, I mean the woman inside said they have some Jellybeans that can make you super happy, and the chocolate rabbit Ty Lee just polished either makes her really energetic or... horny." Trevor mumbled the last bit.

"Oh, so it's just ****." Immediate switch between Ino and Pixie as now the catgirl was trying to take the candy away from Ty Lee and Ino tried to grab the gummy bears.

"No, stop taking my stuff! I paid for it, it's mine!" Ty Lee shouted, and just to spite the other girls, ripped open the bag and swallowed all three gummy bears. "If you want it, just try and take it from me!"

"Why do I feel like she ate more than just the rabbit?" Trevor asked rhetorically.

Unfortunately, there was another girl sitting and listening, and while she didn't pretend to understand why Ty Lee experimenting on herself was bad, it was clear that her soulmate wanted her not to, so Kurumu entered the battle.

"Give it here!" The blue-haired succubus tried to tackle Ty Lee to the ground as the much lither girl dodged and sprinted away, bag held protectively under her arm. Then she leapt up the side of a building, pulling herself up with her free hand as she stood on the roof, and childishly stuck her tongue out.

"Crap, come on guys, we gotta catch her before she eats everything!" Trevor jogged away only for the trio of girls to stay behind.

"I mean, I understand why on principal, but she's an adult, and it's not like she can really hurt anyone else. She did pay for it herself... maybe we should just let her go?" Ino suggested.

"No way, some of the stuff can have permanent effects on whoever eats it, can you imagine if she was like that... forever, none of us would ever be able to sleep again, she'd be up all-night bouncing on the beds!" Trevor tried to argue only for a cattish grin to cross Pixie's face.

"I'm pretty sure if she ate the other kind of rabbit, she'd still keep you up all night." Ryuko grinned. "What, too soon?"

"Wait, so if she might make herself... Let's go!" Kurumu said, her face red, whether that was due to the appearance of another love rival or embarrassment, who could say.

"Fine, but I don't know how you expect any of us to catch her." Ino pointed out, a frown on her face as she tightened her ponytail in preparation for what would undoubtedly be a chase. "You're going to have to follow her on the rooftops though." Ino pointed out as Trevor looked at her with confusion.

"Shouldn't you do it, you're the trained ninja after all?" He argued as Ino gestured at her feet.

"Yeah, out there, but while we're here, we don't have our chak- our powers. I don't have any chakra to strengthen myself, or to help keep my balance, and I'm not exactly wearing my normal uniform." Ino stated with a hint of annoyance.

It was true, as Trevor looked down, the blonde was wearing a pair of strappy heeled sandals, not exactly conducive for chasing someone over unstable footing. Kurumu was wearing hardtops, or maybe Mary janes, he couldn't remember which his niece had explained to him, and now worried those were two very different shoes. Pixiebob, on the other hand, was still in her boots that were part of her hero costume, and they rescued people from mountains, so they were probably good in unstable environments. Unfortunately, the hero's eyes were half lidded at best, as she plopped down, her new tail slowly curling around her legs.

A massive yawn confirmed his worries, "I thought the Transformation just gave you ears and a tail, not turn you into a cat!" He lamented as Pixie shook her drowsiness off.

"It didn't, but I'm not used to being up this early, Mandalay usually has to send Kota to splash me awake around 11." The blonde hero explained as Trevor groaned, cutting the growing argument by slowly climbing up the side of the building, thankfully it had a small ladder on the side of the building. After getting his footing, he slowly jogged after the slowly vanishing figure of Ty Lee in the distance.

"Well, this is going to suck. If everyone lost their powers, then Ty Lee suddenly just became the most physically adept person here, given her training, career, and... and... and she's perched on the edge of a nearby rooftop, nibbling on some more candy like a squirrel." Trevor said, slowing down as he approached her, arms outstretched like Chris Pratt corralling the raptors.

"It's okay, I'm not going to hurt you. I'm just worried that you might be eating too much candy... you might get a cavity, and trust me, those things are no fun at all." He tried to calm her down as she just looked at him with a quirked eyebrow.

"You do realize that just because I'm childish doesn't mean I'm an idiot. I take good care of myself; I'll have you know!" Ty Lee refuted indignantly. "And also, stop talking to me like I'm a child, that's what's no fun!" She added, leaping away across a gap that Trevor would need a tiny bridge to cross.

"Okay, fair point, let's not do that again." He muttered under his breath, trying to make his way around as he spotted her leaping across several more roofs. Every few, she'd pause and see if he was still chasing her.

More than that, several times she waited until he got closer before darting away, usually across an especially large gap that he had no chance of following her over, with a smile aimed back at him, but at least she'd stopped eating the candy, not having time to settle down and enjoy it.

It helped that while nowhere near her physical perfection, Trevor did work in a somewhat physical job, although that was more upper body, he was far from out of shape, and his much longer legs helped even the gap between them. Sometimes she'd have to make a small hop over the gap betwixt buildings, but he could simply step over, over she'd have to hurdle a small fence line that he could clear much easier.

He noticed she was leading him towards the tallest building he could see, outside of the Hotel of course, but that was located on the other side of the river, which was strange because he couldn't remember crossing the river to get here. But led him on she did, all the way to the top of what had to be 6 stories.

She even had the audacity to wait for him at the top, bag in hand, perched and overlooking the rest of the town like the pinkest Batman in existence. Once again, his height came in handy, able to somewhat quickly traverse the building by grabbing on to convenient ledges to hoist himself up, but he was still out of breath by the time he reached the top.

"Wait... wait just a minute, oh God I hurt... let's just... just talk about this." Trevor tried to reason with Ty Lee, who looked at him with a bemused look.

"Okay, talk." Ty Lee suggested as he blinked owlishly, still panting.

"What?" He wasn't getting enough oxygen to his brain to understand.

"You wanted to talk about something, so talk." Ty Lee clarified, glancing over the rooftop at something on her side of the building.

"Oh, I... didn't think you'd listen... Okay, just, wait a second while I catch my breath. I'm just trying to help you, the candy is magical, it can give you new Transformations or change your emotions or your body or mind or whatever! If you want to eat it, that's fine, just let us see what all you bought, so we can make a list and be prepared. What if something you ate made you attack us or be mean to the other girls. You didn't seem pleased when Daki was bullying the others earlier, and I know how important it is for you to have your individuality, and that candy might take that away from you." Trevor tried to explain as Ty Lee nodded along, looking more downcast with each word.

"Fine, I won't eat any more of my candy until you guys can take a look at it." She admitted, looking like a child in timeout, which was accurate in a way.

"Okay, now let's-"

"But I'm not letting you take it away from me until you catch me first!" Ty Lee declared as she unfurled the sash on her side, leaping off the ledge.

"No wait, Ty Lee!" Trevor shouted, sprinting to the precipice as he spotted the gymnast, wide grin on her face as she slid down a wire that crossed the river, heading to a lower roof.

"Oh, sweet God!" Trevor swore, hands on his legs. "Ain't no way I'm doing that. I'll take the..." He looked straight down the side, his vision blurring for a second. "It ain't worth it. No girl, no matter how pretty she is, is worth it. Two hot girls aren't worth it, I don't care how many girls it is, if this is what every day is going to be like, send me back home." Trevor lamented his enviable fate as he slowly threw his coat over the wire, preparing to leave his life in God's hands.

As if Cam would let him die on camera.

Closing his eyes, he let go and was sent soaring after the happily yelling Ty Lee, who landed with much more grace, letting go in time to roll, springing back up as she took off running again.

Trevor on the other hand, did not stick the landing, in fact he didn't even make it to the other side as his arms gave out, letting him drop into the admittedly amazing feeling water of the river which was lazily drifting along. Standing, it might have reached his midthigh, but as he splashed down, it nearly reached his chin, the cool water refreshing as he watched his coat lazily land on the cobblestones just on the other side.

"Trevor, you okay? Don't worry, just rest a minute, we'll catch her!" Ino shouted, running by with Ryuko just behind her, at a pace that made the Master think he might have been duped as she didn't seem to struggle with running in her heels, pursuing the runaway circus performer.

Trevor didn't have the energy to tell them not to worry, Ty Lee was just running away to have fun now as the two blondes ran after her, Ty Lee's laughter echoing from quite a distance away.

He had no idea how long he sat in the water before slowly pulling himself up on dry ground, groaning in pain as he spotted the third member of the capture crew, Kurumu running up to him, equally out of breath and red in the face.

While Ino was still a trained ninja, even without her chakra, and Pixie was a hero with no doubt hours of physical training from mountain rescue, Kurumu was still a schoolgirl whose physicality was made for a different kind of cardio. And he totally wasn't checking out the way her tits bounced, or the panting she was doing.

Thank God for cold water.

"...okay?" She asked, bringing him back to reality.

"Hmm?"

"I said, are you okay? That was a big fall, and I'd hate for you to get sick from the water. Maybe we should head back to the Hotel and wait for the others." The succubus suggested, only for Trevor to shake his head, splattering her with droplets of river water.

"No, it'll go faster if we all work together. I'm pretty sure Ty Lee's back to normal, she promised not to eat anymore candy until we catch her, but I'm not taking any risks. Let's go!" He shouted, only to immediately stumble as Kurumu had to help steady him.

They looked at each other, giving a chuckle as they walked after the others, Trevor picking up his coat as they walked past it.

The chase lasted for several more hours, although it didn't exactly feel that long, but the sun was already starting to go down by the time they had wrangled Ty Lee back to the Hotel, all four surrounding her so she didn't make a break for it.

Not that that seemed likely, the circus performer's eyes were drooping heavily, and she'd started leaning on one of them, the foretold crash out hitting her hard.

Trevor's clothes had dried off between the sun and running around so more, but his body was definitely feeling it as he said goodbye to the others, and hit the uppermost button on the elevator, which had to correspond to the Loft, his room.

He was too exhausted to realize he still hadn't seen his room, and honestly, he didn't care as he fumbled through all his pockets for his MasterCard, unlocking the door, and collapsing on the thankfully nearby bed.

He'd intended to change into different clothes, even if his current ones were dry, he still felt dirty, but the events of the day. The introduction, the date turned impromptu game of tag with Ty Lee, and all the different thoughts running through his head exhausting him both mentally and physically. It seemed Ty Lee wasn't the only one crashing out.

That was how Ty Lee found him a few hours later, after a decent dinner, still fully dressed, face down on the covers, knees still on the floor. rather than wake him up, she simply flopped on the bed next to him, dozing off herself as the day's events caught up with her.

They would sleep like that for several more hours before Alex showed up in the middle of the night to use her magic to put them under the covers, with heads on pillows, so at least they would be capable of moving the next day.

"Well, fudgesicle, and I went to the effort of trying to make it as homely as possible. Oh well, he can enjoy it in the morning."

But who is still up?
