Hidden effects:

Sarah Cooper - Subject sees herself and other subjects more as a possession of the user than like a person and believes they should behave as such. Will become aroused when treated like an object by the user. The effect increases with level up.

Rebecca Ryan - Whenever the subject's hands are restrained/in handcuffs, they will believe they are unable to move any of their limbs without the user's approval. Subject may wriggle in place and can also move in times of crisis if necessary. static effect and does not change upon level up.

Max Cooper - When the User orgasm’s with more than one subject in close proximity, they will not lose their erection and experience a second wind to allow them to continue. The number of ‘second winds’ is equal to the number of additional subjects, allowing the user to keep up with the subjects.

Like with Sarah’s hidden effect, that had become less and less hidden as time had gone on, you hadn’t needed to understand the whole effect word for word before it was revealed but you had to at least know that something was strange and piece some of the puzzle together.

You would have never tested the part with ‘in time of crisis’ and risk putting Rebecca in danger so you were glad it wasn’t that strict in its requirements. You were also glad that the KDK had also considered circumstances like that. You highly doubted there would ever be a situation where you would put Rebecca in handcuffs and then leave her on her own, but it was nice to know that she could move on her own if an emergency ever happened.

When thinking about your other subjects, you still weren’t any closer to learning the truth on what their hidden effects could be. Lucy had behaved a little strangely this morning but you didn’t have anything to pinpoint exactly what it could be. Other than that, you had nothing to go on and now that you had Izzy and Jessica to also investigate, you didn’t think you were any closer to solving the complete mystery.

The extra time you thought you had was now completely gone as the bell rang out throughout the school, forcing you to put away your phone and rush off to your first exam of the day.

You’d already made sure you knew where you were going but that didn’t make it any easier to navigate the student-filled corridors and you did manage to make it to the classroom you needed to on time. Sarah and Emma weren’t joining you again in the morning but you had at least 2 exams today where you would see each of them. You still wouldn’t be able to talk with them given the rooms would be completely silent while taking the tests, but it did help ease your mind knowing that they would be going through the same experience in the same room as you later.

You made a bit of small talk with the people you did know, friends you hadn’t spent much time with lately and just people who were getting pre-exam jitters, something you felt was contagious as the line outside got quieter when the teacher started letting everyone inside.

With a few “good luck” and parting remarks, you went inside and took your assigned seat, following through with the same procedure as yesterday before your time officially began.

You were less sure of your answers this time when you finally finished double and triple checking your test. Currently you had finished with the history essay in front of you so there wasn’t anything quick and easy that you could erase and redo, having to stick with what you had already written down.

Even with your doubts, you were still finished ahead of almost everyone else as the sounds of pens scratching against paper filled the room.

The KDK didn’t seem to be as much help when it came to this sort of work, having no logical solution as it was more to do with your own style of writing rather than remembering facts and statistics. That part you were able to excel at, the dates and events you were referencing still in your brain that you had written about, just how they were presented on the page was what was bothering you.

Maybe Sarah or Emma would have different experiences with their own intelligence upgrades but this seemed to be an area you found yourself lacking in given you weren’t magically enhanced to deal with it.

Potentially this was something Charm or Willpower would resolve but you were still not happy using those effects. You ended up considering why you had allowed yourself to use the intelligence effect then if you were worried about changing yourself mentally, and by the time you had figured out that it felt more logical than emotional to upgrade that part of yourself, was when the exam time had just finished and the teacher was asking everyone to stop writing.

You left the classroom alongside everyone else, some sounding more hopeful than others as they discussed how well they thought they had done. You were still stuck in your own head for a moment so once you were finally able to shake the thoughts, you could tell that people were assuming you hadn’t done well and were avoiding any harsh words about the subject. You still ended up having some small talk which was a novelty for you, your life having turned upside down to the point that this was now a weird moment instead of all the chaotic things that had been going on.

Once everyone seemed to part ways, you saw that you had some extra time before your next exam, essentially having a whole period to do with as you pleased. Sarah and Emma had different schedules than you so it was unlikely they had the same privilege and you were sure Rebecca would be busy monitoring another class and not have time to mess around with you after this morning.

That left you with about an hour to do something on your own, having no subjects with you to help fill the time.

You found yourself already moving to go outside and you ended up sitting in the spot that Sarah had told you about, the weather being nice enough to sit outside while you had some time to kill.

Sitting down on the grass, you could already feel yourself getting antsy that you weren’t using your time productively. You would have loved to get some time like this if it had been two weeks ago but now it felt like you were forgetting something that you had to do even when you knew it would be perfectly fine to just sit here and relax for an hour.

It felt like you had forgotten how to relax and as soon as you realised you had your phone so you could call someone to chat with them, the stress you were feeling seemed to dissipate.
