Chapter 19 by TheTruePenguin TheTruePenguin

Well, shall we get this party started?

Girls Just Want to Have Fun

Almost as soon as Cam had vanished, several of the girls stood, heading back towards the Hotel. Ty Lee on the other hand, weaved through the small crowd of women, pulling Trevor behind her rather forcefully.

"Come on," The circus performer whined, squeezing a little tighter on his wrist as he struggled to keep up with her. "I want to go explore!"

"Hold on Ty Lee. It's still early, wouldn't you rather do that after breakfast, or we get something to eat?" Trevor pointed out as Ty Lee didn't pause, still pulling him away as her grip shifted, her fingers finding themselves winding through his.

Holding Master's Hand: +1x2 (First Time Bonus) =2 VP (You slut)

Ty Lee blinked owlishly, something finally giving her pause as Trevor righted himself as Ty Lee let him go, slowly walking away as he followed.

"Sorry about that, guess I got a bit excited!" Ty Lee tried to explain, a beaming grin her only visible apology.

"It-It's alright, I guess I can understand, being in a new place like this, and everything we've just went through. We can explore in a bit, but why don't we get something to eat first?" Trevor offered a second time as Ty Lee considered his proposal.

"Hmm, nope," she said, interlacing her fingers a second time and pulling him towards the village. "Where should we start, in the village or the Hotel, or maybe you'd like to get to the top of that waterfall, that seems like a lot of fun!" Ty Lee cheered, looking expectantly towards the Master.

"I'd rather not, I'm not a huge fan of the outdoors, I'd much rather just admire it from afar. Let' see what's in the village for now, maybe we can find some shops or something, although I don't have any money. Cam didn't give me any... um, MP before he left." Trevor said.

"Oh, do you like shopping, we can do that, I don't mind paying, thanks to that Poll or whatever, I've got some cash, and since we apparently get rewarded for making you happy, it doesn't seem that bad." Ty lee offered as they descended the stairs.

"Hmm, I'm not a huge fan of shopping, I much prefer to just get in and get out with what I want, but since I don't know what there even is, it'll take some time to get that familiar. But I hate making you pay for my stuff..." Trevor trailed off at Ty Lee's smirking look.

"I don't mind, really, after all, what are friends for right?" She asked, tilting her head as he turned away.

'We've known each other maybe an hour and she's already decided I'm her friend.' He thought as he nodded slowly.

"Yay, let's go!" Ty lee squealed, immediately releasing him as she turned into a human Slinky, slipping her way down the stairs with acrobatic ease.

"Oh dear, what have I gotten myself into now?" Trevor silently lamented.

"If you don't mind me asking," Trevor started, having to lightly jog after the girl, who literally paused midflip, holding herself upside down on her hands, and giving Trevor a look of her soft uncovered midriff, now visible with tense muscle that he had to refrain from looking at. "Where were you before you came here, were brought here, before you got here, I think you mentioned a man offering cotton candy?" Trevor tried to remember.

"Oh right," Ty Lee righted herself, now simply walking backwards as they reached the bottom of the stairs, "I was in a prison in the Fire nation, that's where I'm from, and then I fell asleep, and when I woke up, there was a girl surrounded by bright pretty lights and lots of clouds and they were super soft kinda like cotton candy except cotton candy isn't actually that soft once you taste it, it gets really sticky." Ty Lee stopped, a smile on her face and a small line of drool leaking from the corner of her mouth.

"Okay, so sometime after you defected from Azula and before the Gaang won the war, gotcha." Trevor whispered, but apparently not quite enough as even he noticed the look that crossed Ty Lee's normally cheerful face, her eyes shrinking and her posture pulling into itself.

"So, the Fire Nation lost huh? So, I'm probably not getting out of prison for a while then... Oh well, might as well enjoy my vacation then huh?" Ty Lee tried to put on a brave face, but Trevor couldn't help but wonder how honest she was being right now, girls were hard to read and Ty Lee doubly so.

"It's really strange that Cam brought some of you from different points in your lives, from what some of you said, you're from the end of your respective stories, but then there's ones like you, Ino, and Shalltear, who are far from done yet, I mean, I suppose it makes sense for Ino, since she married Sai after the war and that would seriously put a damper on my attraction, although I guess it still does, I'll have to talk with her about that, but after the war you were let out same as most prisoners. To my knowledge, while you were imprisoned you made friends with lots of the Kyoshi Warriors, and they took you in after the war." Trevor mumbled, not noticing both that the pair had stopped moving, and that Tylee was just staring at him with big eyes.

"Oh, those girls we beat up outside of Ba Sing Se, yeah, I saw a couple of them around the prison, Mei Ling, and Iris, oh and Suzu, who didn't really look like a warrior because she was really tiny." Ty lee rambled.

" I'm not sure you have any grounds to be saying that." Trevor turned to the side, all but sure that one of the magical cameras would somehow be right in front of him.

"Whatcha mean?" Ty Lee inquired, tilting her head again. Completely ignoring the fact that on even ground, she only came up to his chest. Now that he thought about it, most of the girls were rather short compared to him, not helped by the combined fact that nearly all of them were technically teenagers and roughly based on Asian females which were notoriously short.

"Just that... nothing, never mind." He cut himself off, walking away.

Ty Lee eyed him suspiciously as she ran after him. "The weather sure is nice here." She stated as she caught up to him, eliciting a snort of laughter. "What?"

"Am I that boring that you've already run out of things to talk about?" Trevor teased, as Ty Lee turned away with a soft blush.

"No, it's just, I was thinking how pretty it is here, I hope it's like this every day. Maybe we could get some of the other girls together and play something like tag or hide-and-explode or maybe something else, do you have any games you like to play?" Ty Lee suggested as Trevor looked at her before resuming walking, glancing at several of the storefronts for something that looked interesting.

'How many clothing stores does one Hotel need. It's like they divided every department into its own store! At this rate, we'll be here all day, never mind that every possible food option is probably available too. How hard is it to find a damn bookstore!' Trevor thought.

"Hmm, sorry, what'd you say?" Trevor said, looking around in frustration.

"I asked if you like to play any games?" Ty Lee repeated herself.

"Oh, well a few I guess, hide-and-seek is fun, not so much tag, umm, four-square is pretty fun, and I really enjoy swimming, but that's not really a game. I really like volleyball, I was on my high school team for a while before I got demoted to pinch server, I have a really low block, bad knee from a bicycle accident when I was a kid. Honestly, though, I'd be worried that Cam would turn something like that into a challenge at the end of the week, kinda like Squid Game, you know?" (Not now I won't.) Trevor rambled as Ty lee blinked at him, trying to take in all the information, but she didn't understand half of what he was talking about.

"Volleyball? Low block? Pinch Server? Bicycle? Highschool? Squid Game?" In a second Ty Lee expected smoke to pour out of her ears. At least she could assume hide-and-seek was similar to hide-and-explode given the names, but she didn't know the about others.

"Oh right, sorry, I forgot for a minute that you might not know what some of those things are. Uhm, volleyball is really similar to that game you played on Ember Island, with the hitting the ball over the net with a team." Trevor tried to explain.

"Oh, Kaui Ball, okay, so a pinch server would... be the server when things get really bad, in a pinch, right?" Ty Lee tried to figure it out, earning a smile from Trevor as she got the idea.

"Exactly, and Squid Game is a show from my home, it would take a while to explain, but the simple version is really rich nobles **** poor people to play children's games like Red Light- Green Light and Marbles, and then killed the losers, a rather apropos comparison to our current situation." Trevor explained as Ty lee was **** to admit he had a point.

Whatever the acrobat was about to say was cut off as she spotted something over his shoulder, sprinting towards it, bouncing on the balls of her feet as she looked in the window.

Curious as to what earned such a reaction, Trevor glanced at the sign over the door, positively ignoring the massive puppy dog eyes Ty Lee was shooting at him all of a sudden.

Angelic Confectionarium

"Isn't it a little early for sweets?" Trevor pointed as Ty Lee shook her head vigorously.

"Nope, it's a perfect time for cotton candy, and chocolate and lollipops and fudge and-"

"Okay, I get your point... honestly I think I'd forgotten that most of you girls are technically teenagers, aged up at that, so you have even more childish tolerances in terms of diet. If you want to go in, then go ahead, I guess. I'll wait out here, I've already lost three more teeth than I wanted to cavities." Trevor said as Ty lee whipped around so quickly her braid smacked him in the cheek.

"Thank you!" Ty Lee squealed, pulling on the door, only for it to refuse to budge. Her expression cratered as she slumped to the floor. "They're closed?!"

"Shouldn't be, if it were after dark I could understand, but I somehow doubt Cam shares my viewpoints on sugar for breakfast. Hmm, what's this sign say?" Trevor pointed out as Ty Lee looked up from the sheer depths of her depression.

Currently Locked: 1500 BP or 3 MP to open

"Oh right, Cam mentioned something about this. All the stores are closed, but you can pay to have them unlocked, kinda like in a game, it'll cost 1500 BP, but I'm sure if we can find a few of the other girls-"

Ding!

"Got it!" Ty Lee fist pumped the air as her BP took a nosedive. Not hesitating to drop that much just to get into a candy shop immediately instead of hunting for someone else, her Memory Card immediately glowed a soft gold as more numbers appeared on the screen.

+500 BP (First shop unlocked, and you get to reap all the benefits.)

"Well, I guess that's not so bad, and she's already gone." Trevor lamented quietly as the effusive girl darted into the shop, the lone male for literally leagues leaned against the wall, waiting for his date to come back.

"Maybe I figure out how to get the map function to work?" He wondered aloud, fiddling with his own MasterCard.

What's the Worst that could happen?
