Sushi by the pool

I pull the rice out and set it on the bench.

"Okay, I'll supervise but don't worry, I'll help whenever you need"

You nod and cautiously place the nori sheet over the rolling mat. You grab a bit of rice with the spatula and spread it along the sheet. I'm standing behind you with my hand reaching around to lean on the bench in front of you. I reach forward, pressing myself into your back a little as I straighten the rice out on the sheet and take a little of the extra off and eat it.

"Good job darling, a little less next time" I say, very close to your ear.

You nod and put a few pieces of salmon on, and cucumber and carrot that I've chopped for you. You reach for the avocado and look back at me. Everything is already cut up nearly for you so you're able to put everything else on, but not the avo which is just cut in half. I reach forward and cup your small hands in mine, and show you how to use the butterknife to cut long pieces out of it.

We put them on your soon-to-be sushi roll and I take your hands again as I show you how to roll it up. My face is closer to yours now as I look over your shoulder, and you smell whatever I've used on my face this morning. We take the rolling mat away

"It looks amazing, well done sweet pea" I say and scratch absently behind your ears. I think I hear a pur for a second, but regardless you seem very pleased with yourself. I put your hands in mine again and show you cutting. At the end I take the knife up next to your face and run my tongue along it to clean the avocado off. The back of the knife touches your neck and you shiver a little but don't complain.

We make a few more together and I encourage you to try different things, like pickled ginger or marinated tofu. Each time I still help you, but it's clear I'm guiding you less and less with each one. By the third you put the knife up for me to like yourself, and on the fourth you lick it yourself.

I put half away and put the other half on a serving platter with dipping bowl of soy sauce in the middle.

"Now, I was thinking, we could eat this is the pool"

You look at me nervously.

"It's okay, I have something that might help convince you"

I grab a bag off the top of the fridge (where you can't reach) and pull out a tiny bikini. It's pink and has Sanrio characters onit. It is pretty cute and you take it and slip out of the little dress you're in to pull it on. I help you do up the back strap and look at you in it. It would be incredibly revealing on anyone else but with your flat chest it covers you nicely.

"You look very cute" I say smiling at you, and I pull my shirt off And get into my swimwear. I hand you the food and grab a six pack of watermelon vodka cruisers and my speakers and lead you to the outside pool. The day is so hot that the water is barely cold and I set everything down by the edge, start some music quietly, and step into the pool, waiting on the first step.

I hold my hand out and you take it and stand on the step next to me. I hold your hand tight and step down until I'm up to my waist, and you follow but it's reaching your chest now since you're so much smaller. I reach forward and grab your hips and easily pick you up. You wrap your legs around me and your arms as I carry you deeper into the pool and you start clinging tighter and tighter. We get to a little below shoulder deep and you're shaking, claws digging into my back and teeth sinking into my neck.

"Shhhhhh... It's okay" I say, holding you tightly with one hand and rubbing your back with the other. I sway gently from side to side and the cool movements of the water start to relax you. Your breathing slows and your teeth come off my neck. I take a step back into the more shallower part and put your face on my chest so you can hear my heartbeat, and your fingers slowly retract from being dug so hard into my skin. I kiss your forehead and rock you gently, and eventually you relax enough that I can shift you to a bridal carry and walk you around a bit

We walk to the side of the pool where the food is and there's a raised part underwater so you can sit at the edge with your lower half submerged.

I hand you a drink and open mine. I see you about to try and use your teeth to open yours and I snatch it from your hands and give you a disapproving look as I open it for you.

You notice the trickle of blood from the bite on my neck going down my chest and you go to wipe it off, only managing to smear it along my chest. I submerge myself to get it off and come back up to sit with you, but it's still trickling out.

"Sorry" you murmur, reaching out to touch the bite mark

"Don't be, you were very brave and I'm proud of you" I say with a big smile.

You lean forward and lick the excess blood off my neck and suck the wound a little. It stops bleeding and you actually smile at me, seemingly proud of your idea.

We eat, and drink together in the shade. I stand in the pool and get you to jump off the little seat/ledge were eating on and praise you for being so brave when you do it, even if I have to be so close our fingertips touch. You sit on my lap and we take turns feeding each other sushi. I don't convince you to put your head under yet, but I do get you to hold my shoulders as I swim along gently. The sun starts setting and we've finished our food and had all the drinks (although I do finish your third one for you). I even went and got more of the sushi. You're resting your head on my shoulder as I walk around the pool, swaying you gently from side to side and I let you drift to sleep in my arms as I quietly sing along to the music

I eventually carry you out the pool, and you wake up as we go inside. I help you rinse off in the shower quickly and dry you, leaving you in your warm spot again while I clean up. The sushi was just meant to be lunch but I hadn't expected you to want to stay in so long. Eventually I shower and dry myself off and carry you to your bed in my room.

I put you in yours and hop into mine. It's not long before I feel you crawling under the covers and snuggling up at my hip. I reach down and scratch your ears and feel you purr softly. I reach down and slide you up to my chest and you don't even stir. I fall asleep with you in my arms
