They should go home

Zayden and I have to walk a bit before we reach the bridge. It gives me time to think about what happened earlier. It is true that I wanted Zayden’s Samhain child, and to make that happen, he had to impregnate me tonight. But I had a hard time thinking of a good way to make us find each other. The meet up at the rocky shore was Zayden’s idea. It sounded like it would work out, but it obviously didn’t. Partially because I got stuck, the other part because of Zayden’s naivity. I can’t really blame myself for having stepped in a trap. That is pure bad luck. But Zayden? He could have been a bit more skeptical. Ask a few questions that only we would know, like when he had our first kiss or how he courted me. All in all, I feel a bit disappointed in Zayden right now.

As we cross the bridge, we see there is a guy waiting on the other end.

It’s not someone I know. Someone from the traveler clan? I hope he is not waiting for a girl to cross. I still have my necklace, so I can still be caught. Maybe having Zayden with me will trick him into thinking that I’ve already been caught. Zayden also seems to worry about losing me to that guy, as he decides to step in between me and that guy. That is actually kinda cute.

As we get closer, the guy notices us and looks at us both. I am not quite bothered at someone seeing me nude. This is my 4th Samhain, so I have gotten used to it. That and all the time I’ve been with Kinkade, both before Zayden and early in my relationship with him.

“Hey, are you two heading back to the village too?” The guy says.

“Yeah, we are.” Zayden answers. “Why are you asking?”

“Great. I am heading there too.” The guy explains. “Mind if I join you there? My sense of direction is practically non-existent. I am already lucky to have found this bridge, but I fear I am going to get lost if go any further on my own.”

Zayden looks over at me. I feel he would prefer for this guy to leave us alone. While I would prefer that too, I do kinda like Zayden showing a little bit of jealousy. Him being afraid to lose me makes me feel wanted, loved and appreciated. After Zayden had sex with Mearna, I kinda need him to show me some love. So, I shrug and say, “I guess.” Showing my approval for this guy to join us back to the village.

As we are walking towards the village this guy introduces himself as Pwyll and tries to start a conversation with us. I might be interested to entertain him if not for the fact he keeps staring at my boobs. I get that guys have a hard time keeping their eyes away from them. Zayden loves to see them and then there was also that moment with Leigh. But this Pwyll guy does it a little too much. Then one moment, he interrupts himself to point something out.

“Hey, hang on.” Pwyll says as he stops walking. “You have a girl’s necklace.” And points at the Zayden’s fist. “But so do you.” After which he points with his finger to my shoulders. Shit, he figured it out. Then he gets this creepy smile and says, “Oh shit. You can still bang tonight, right?”

Fuck, this is bad. If this guy touches me I am going to have to have sex with him or else the ancestor spirits will be angry with me. I don’t want that. Not with him and definitely not with Zayden nearby. Pwyll takes a step towards me, but thankfully Zayden gets in between us and says “She doesn’t want to.” granting me a chance to take two steps back.

Pwyll gives Zayden a mean look and say, “Of course she does. If she didn’t she wouldn’t have gotten into the forest. Besides, you already banged a girl. Don’t hog this one too, you only get to bang one.”

By the gods, does this guy think we are such sluts that any dick is fine? He obviously doesn’t understand why we are doing this ritual. Besides, looking over him, I notice he doesn’t have a necklace at all. I am honestly surprised that I didn’t notice it before.

“No, he’s right. I don’t want to ‘bang’ you.” I tell Pwyll. “Besides, where is your necklace? Did you lose it or something?”

“Uh, yeah. It was made all shoddy and fell apart.” He says.

That is a bold faced lie. We always make certain our necklaces are well crafted specifically to avoid an accidental loss like that. He must have lost it somewhere. That means he is already going to receive the anger of the ancestors. And if he doesn’t have a necklace to offer, it doesn’t matter if he catches me. A lost necklace counts as a lost chance to participate. So I can deny him, even if he catches me.

I put my hands on my hips and sternly say, “I don’t believe that. Besides, we need to exchange necklaces. If you no longer have yours, then you no longer have anything to give me, so piss off.”

Pwyll then gets angry and says, “Hey, I don’t need a slut talking to me like that.” After which he pushes Zayden away.

Seeing Pwyll have such disregard for the rules makes me worried enough to take another step back. Unfortunately, I was not fast enough and Pwyll manages to grab me by the wrist. Dammit, asshole. I told you I don’t want to. I fight back and try to pull myself free, but I am unable to pull out of his grip. No! I don’t want this guy to fuck me!

Then Zayden gets in between us and punches Pwyll’s arm so hard that he has to let go. Immediately after, he grabs Pwyll’s arm with both hands and pulls him away from me.

“Get out of here, Kaileigh!” Zayden yells.

I don’t like leaving Zayden behind, but this is not the time for us to have a debate about it. This Pwyll guy is ready to **** himself on me and I need to act now. So, I listen to Zayden and start running. Hopefully, Zayden can keep Pwyll occupied long enough for me to make my escape and run all the way back to the village.
