Stepping into the store I looked about in a bit of shock. The store was open, clean, and well lit. I think I expected some dirty little sex dungeon or something. This looked just like any other store, if you ignored what was on the shelves anyways.

Wondering where to even start I was startled again by a voice beside me. "A bit overwhelming isn't it?"

I jumped and whirled to see a extremely intimidating woman. Her short spikey hair was dyed a vibrant blue and she had piercing steel grey eyes. Her slashed up black t-shirt Showed off a lot of tattooed skin and impressive cleavage, what was left of the shirt had the store logo on it. Was she a employee? And how had she snuck up on me like that? "Uh, yeah. I've never..."

Definitely a store worker then, and friendly if a bit odd. I certainly wasn't expecting to have to talk to a hot girl about this though. "I, um..."

She was pretty intense but at the same time reassuring. "If you need to browse feel free, most people don't know what they're looking for or they'd just buy it online. I nodded, feeling better. "Vick." I said back. She probably saw way skeevier dudes in here than me. "Actually I wanted to look at sex dolls."

"Nice! Someone that knows what they want, I dig it. This way." And she walked off into the store so I followed.

So it turns out there are a lot of different kinds of sex dolls. Who knew? While Jade showed me around, talking about their various features, I realized I had a problem. I wanted something realistic, I'd pictured Amber as mostly herself but a doll. And they did have ones like that but there was no way I was getting a life sized doll in the house. The inflatable ones took much less room without air, but they looked really cheap and basic. Amber the airhead as a balloon was a funny thought, but not really that sexy. Jade gave me a thumbs up while I picked out the Princess I liked best. Might as well buy one I liked the look of for the original. I hadn't completely given up on the idea of getting one of the really good full size dolls though, if I brought the Alterscope here I could copy the pattern without having to lug the whole thing around or even pay for it. Doing that without Jade, or whoever was working when I came back, asking awkward questions though might be a problem. Still it was an idea.

I was confused by that. "Regulars usually pay cash?"

Jade laughed. "Why do you think stores like this still exist in the digital age? Anonymity my guy. People slink in here in the dead of night dressed up like they're in a spy movie or something and pay in cash so it can't be traced. It's kind of sad even in current year most people think they have to hide their kinks. Why do you think the place is dead right now? No one shops here during the day but the boss thinks if we don't stay open people won't know to come here at night." She rolled her eyes, obviously not sharing the opinion. So the place was empty during the day? That was interesting.

"Well I certainly can't do any online shopping for this kind of stuff, my sisters would crucify me."

She rang me up and handed me back my change. I slipped her $40 back as a tip, Jade had been super helpful and I had plenty of money. Raising her brows at me she took the cash. "Feel free to come back and hang out, it's always boring as shit here daytime and I'd love to hear some feedback on the toys."

Time to get back home with today's acquisitions and maybe get some experimentation in before the next phase of my plan.

Tonight was going to be fun.
