Your eyes open to the sound of music.

In your rest, somebody has patched up your spots that were most sore, and your Suit of the Demon King has been removed. Not only that, but your clothing has been changed to something clean and fresh. You still wear your Winged Boots and Tol'vuus binds your finger, and when you turn your attention to the table beside your bed, you see the Arcane Eye staring back at you, right next to your Sending Stone. Lauo is against the wall, in its scabbard. Of course the nap wasn't enough to return you to one hundred percent, but you feel amazing. Perhaps it's the presence of those closest to you, or you've simply grown even stronger, but either way, you're ready to take on the rest of the day.

The first thing you do is peak out your window to the evening sky, and then to the winding roads of Castle Phoenix. You can see the damaged wall from where the hulking mechanical dragon crashed down, unleashing an army of automatons led by the golden ELIS. There are buildings nearby which have collapsed, or are near, so the entire area has been roped off so nobody gets hurt. Some still wear bandages, though thankfully nobody was terribly injured. Repairs haven't even begun, however, as something else is occurring.

You hope Malakae Vraelion is all right, as well as Queen Catherine II. You can't yet see Aris, but she has her own duties to attend to first, pertaining to her sister Nae. William, however, has already departed, along with his own allies. Not a trace of them remain.

There's cheer in the streets, as well as beautiful music played by various instruments. Individually, perhaps they wouldn't sound all that pleasing to the ears, though there's something to be said about them in tandem with the laughter and chatter of all those below.

As an enchanter, Lord Barkis soothes the minds of those who struggle to relax. Bulrak, as a geomancer, tidies the area up and makes sure there's a wide, safe place free from debris. Lady Sulta uses her transmutation magic to impress those around her, much to Candy's surprise, by performing such acts as making a few people fly. Speaking of which, Candy is of course a master illusionist, and uses her magic to fill the air with confetti and other special effects. Rada Beela, as a pyromancer, follows this up with beautiful fireworks above. While more aloof and with hesitation, even Okawa uses her skills as a conjurer to summon strange yet adorable creatures for those who care to pet and play with them.

Snow and Lynx set up to fire arrows at a target back and forth, and while it's quite clear the kunoichi is the greatest archer Castle Phoenix has, she allows Lynx to use the beautiful bow she obtained back during her undersea adventure, and the kindness of the gesture isn't lost on her.

Gazing over the crowd further, you also see The Edge naturally looming in the shadows. You then ponder for a moment. Sir Elyndar Imaeris. You haven't seen him since he marched with Front B underground towards Elok Daven's lair. Thinking back, you try to remember whether or not you saw him in the final room. Nobody said anything, but you don't remember him teleporting back with the others.

He's probably fine.

Niki and Bek decide to throw axes at a target now far from the archery contest, though almost immediately, an axe from Niki's hand splits it in two. It's unclear if Bek would have done the same, as he was a 9th level warrior the last time you spoke with him and he may now be 10th, but the world will never know. Niki, as the stormwall elite class, now serves as the party's mighty tank, but that doesn't mean she's without just as mighty strength.

"You should join them," speaks a quiet yet confident voice from near the now-opened doorway. It's Catherine, the high vampire. She watches you from the shadows of the dimly lit room by a crimson gaze. Her pale skin is ghostly, yet she's still strikingly beautiful. When she speaks, her long, sharp fangs shine from the evening light pouring in from the window you're leaning over.

"How long have you been there?" you ask.

"You were only napping for about an hour and a half, but don't flatter yourself. I wasn't watching. I only just arrived. Now as much as I hate to repeat myself, you should join them. As their leader, whether or not they're asking aloud, they await for your return."

"Have we gotten word from anybody about anything?"

"The queen has retaken the throne. Avana suffered much, but it won't take long to return to normal. Well, as normal as things can be. I imagine the Empire will be different for some time. One could say this is the perfect time for my descendent to seize the respect back from her people. I trust her to rebuild and reshape." She runs her nails back through her long, dark hair as she looks you over. "If you stay any longer, I will take a bite. That's a threat."

"Guess I have **** but to stay then."

A smirk lifts the corner of her lip, but she turns quick after to depart. "Make your entrance memorable."

I was thinking the same thing.

You grab the corner of the windowsill, stretch back your legs, and take a Bunny Hop straight through the wall of your bed chambers and into the sky above the party. You gaze down at those celebrating below as you activate your Boots of Herbes, and one by one, people notice and stare up at your dramatic appearance overhead. You stretch out your arms and smile down at them, and soon a crowd of everybody present watches as you land right in the center.
