To the hospital

Thanks to no traffic getting to the hospital was much quicker and easier, say what you want about the apocalypse but at least you'll never get caught in rush hour traffic ever again. Still, you did have to take out a few zombies and mutated creatures along the way and it was an hours drive on the scooter to get close to it.

The hospital you were heading towards wasn't a normal hospital, but was the biggest private hospital in the entire city, employing only the best of the best in the medical world and giving their patients the best treatment, the best food etc money could buy. It wasn't just a spot for rich folk to get away from the world for a while, they did actually treat people and over the best treatments, even experimental treatments.

It was a surprisingly secure place that was built to survive almost anything, it was designed to survive powerful earthquakes, had bullet proof glass, a powerful fire surpression system, the best water filter ssytem.

It was a building designed to give people a peace of mind on how secure and safe they were, but to also flaunt how much money they had.

As you got closer to the hospital, you put away the scooter and traveled as quietly as you could on foot, paying special attention to the building and corners that could easily hide people. As it came into view, you moved into some cover, using the shadow of a tree to protect yourself from the sun and hopefully block anyone's view of you.

Pulling off the hat you'd put on as you traveled you wioed away the sweat on your brow before replacing it. Pulling some binoculars you had a closer look at the hospital, you could see a few zombies wandering around the outside, some wearing the hospital gowns while others wore security uniforms.

From your angle you could see some blood splatter on the side of building, obviously some bodies had been thrown out of the hospital before the could turn. As you looked towards the entrance glass doors you could see some furniture had been stacked up to block the entrance, as one zombie wandered in front of the doors they didn't budge, either the power was out so the automatic doors didn't open or they'd been locked.

Lowering the binoculars you were thinking about how best to approach when your noticed a small movement to your right, rising the binoculars again you carefully scanned the area and saw two people laying on the grass, using a bush as cover.

But what concerned you was that not only were the wearing camo clothes to blend in but they had also painted their faced green and black, and was writting something down in a small note book.

Normally a gang in the apocalypse didn't really care about being subtle, they'd brute **** their way through something to get what they want, the gangs letting loose as the old society ways died away and they made their own rules.

But these two were playing it smart, and your gut was telling you this wasn't their first day doing this.

Seeing one point upwards slightly with their finger, you quickly followed the digit and saw a person flying through the sky carrying several rooksacks full of something, if you had to guess it was probably food and water.

Which was a smart thing to do, sending out the person who could fly to collect provitions. Birds didn't turn into zombies or mutated creatures for some reason, guns weren't easy to get your hands on and using the roof to come and go was safer than opening the doors on the ground.

That meant the hospital had at least two people with Powers in it, one you had to keep alive cause they were too useful but the flyboy?

Well you'd have to see how things play out first.

Which finally raised the question, how were You going to get into the hospital, preferably without being seen by the other two people?

Being careful, you slowly moved around the hospital property, taking note of everything you could see. All the lower floor windows were secure and blocked, all doors were as well. There were probably alarms in place so just kicking down a door wasn't a good idea.

You also doubted anyone would let you in if you just walked up and knocked.

Making the wrong first impression would be bad but not unsalvageable, so sneaking in wasn't out of the question as long as you didn't hurt anyone.

Several ideas and plans formed into your mind, giving you ways to get into the hospital and how long they would take to do, as well as how how people might react to you doing them.

In the end you chose a simple, straight forwards plan that didn't waste too much time. You'd have to reveal a power or two but you didn't plan on being sutble when it cames to Powers once inside.

Making sure no would would be able to see you, you put away your hat and binoculars and focused, using your shapeshifting Power to turn into and eagle common to the area and flew up into the air.

You didn't just land on the roof, you circled the area several times trying to catch any more people spying on the hospital, but aside from zombies you didn't see anything moving, not even just enough to jostle a leaf or branch.

Landing on the roof, you turned back to normal and walked towards the roof door leading into the hospital, looking throughthe glass you noticed the key into lock on the otherside, which made things much easier for you.

Using your telekenisis you unlocked the door and quetly entered, you'd guessed the door wasn't alarmed as the flyboy left and entered this way. Locking the door again, you slowly made your way down the strairs, keeping an ear open for any sounds but as you went further down all you could make out was people talking normally, no panic or anger in their voices.

Reaching the bottom of the stairs, you opened the door a crack and glanced in.
