Chapter 6 by Sebyo04 Sebyo04

One needy orc helped, how does the rest of the night go?

Swimmingly, the score at two to two.

Waking up, I find that a strong arm is holding me from thigh to tit against a warm body. Maybe the city isn’t so bad after all if I can wake up like this every day. My thoughts drift back into last night, how this orc barged in and we fucked each other like drowning youngsters in the heat of it all. I think I’ll be keeping Eekaa around, she’ll end up being a good help around home no doubt.

A thought interrupts my reminiscing.

Tools.

That’s right, I’m meant to be in the city for tools and tools only, my family will be going insane with the knowledge of so many gems under them and only a single pick to deepen our mine with, especially one so old and dull. Leaning back against the underside of those tusks, I nudge my guest awake.

“Hey, c’mon, wake up, I can’t lay in bed all day.” I say.

She doesn’t even respond, snoozing in a deep slumber. She's likely still tired, it's not like i didn't try my best to wear her out last night.

I guess that means it’s time to get going instead then. I wriggle out from under the arm trapping me, barely getting it up over me before being pulled back in and groped. I don't want to leave too much either, but unfortunately for my clingy lover, I have to do what I'm here for before the day's out. I don't want to risk delaying my journey by a whole extra day.

Trying again, I manage to get the arm over me and roll over, my tail flopping to the other side of the bed. Thankfully, she doesn’t slow me down at all by grabbing me again, even if I do miss it already.

The room has a few items of clothing here and there, but ultimately I’m missing my shirt and the hood attached to it, which is really the most important one if yesterday proved anything. It had probably been torn last night too, especially since we were both so fired up, though I wasn’t really paying much attention.

Wanting to leave soon instead of bothering to find the torn garment, I take the cloth bandage from my belt on the table and wrap up my chest instead. As much as I want to hide my face, I would rather deal with pushing people out of the way than chafing from my tunic, and it isn’t like I’m going far.

Grabbing everything important in sight, I manage to find my pants and tunic just fine, accounting for everything but the damn shirt.

Well, not quite everything, but seeing as how my door no longer has a lock, I’m not sure that finding the key is really that important.

Making my way downstairs and into the bar, I find that it’s in perfect condition, just like yesterday. The innkeep standing nearly statue still, polishing another glass like it’s personal. Suddenly feeling sorry, I apologise to him as he’s clearly annoyed from how loud we were last night.

“Hey, look, I’m sorry for being a little loud last night, it was my bad, really. I’ll toss in an extra gold tonight for you…” I say, curling my toes and boring holes into the freshly cleaned floorboards, presenting the yellow coin as tribute.

Responding, his demeaner completely changes, “hmm? Ain't no need.” he says, waving off the notion. His voice is surprisingly light for his stature and I look up to double check who I'm talking to. It’s like he’s suddenly completely okay with all the ruckus Eekaa and I cause. That's the least of it though, because he's nothing like what I remember from yesterday, actually speaking and paying attention to more than just that same glass. My embarrassing confusion subsides with the realisation, it must be because he can see me this time. Fine with me, I guess. It is still unnerving that people change so drastically just from looking at me. Of course, that's not to say it has actually done me any harm.

Speaking up, I absently reply, "Oh, uh, sure then." Tucking the coin back into my pouch, I consider my more material concerns. There's that missing key and lock to mention. I could also ask him about a place to get a hood made, I doubt anything for humans would fit my head though. Refixing my gaze to somewhere other than him, I think about what to bring up first. It's probably more important to ask about that lock. I don't think I'd like it if my larger pool of gold is suddenly stolen.

Bringing up the lock to him, he quickly shakes his head, saying, “We’ve never had a lock on that room. Then again…” He quietens, thinking about it himself. Clearly, something wasn’t adding up, but between the lack of rowdy business and the bags under his eyes, he waved the whole issue off, continuing, “…Look lass, if you need a lock, let me know, I’m not sure it’ll matter here too much anyway, but I’ll be able to put one in within the hour should ya request. In fact, if you have any requests at all, feel free to bring them up.”

His self assured expression helps a little. Between an Orc in my room and him out here, there’s probably nothing to worry about that a lock will solve anyway. I can always just use the chair too. That aside, he's starting to look at me with a bit more intent than I really want to sustain. I'll just forget about the hood for now. The smith will probably know a place anyway.

Shaking my head at him, I reply, “yeah, don’t worry about it, my thanks anyway mister. I’ll be back later on.”

He waves me out at that, “I’ll see you later then missy, I’ll get the wife to run you a bath when ya get back.” He says.

A bath would be excellent, something to look forward to later, besides a re-energized Eekaa. I just hum at that, heading for the door and ignoring the obvious stare at my behind.

Heading out, does anything trouble Ituku?
