Ally realized that there were four people in the library, and the case in her pocket held four different colored pills. So long as she was willing to be a test subject herself... She could find out what all four of the pills did!

Ally made a performative, exhausted sigh.

"Damn, it's hot in here," she said to Sister Enna, Isabella, and Moto. "Think I'll run to the kitchen and bring back some tea for everyone." With that, Ally escaped the library, running quickly to the kitchen, where she put some tea on the pot, waiting for the whistle.

"Now, who should get which pills..." She wondered. She laid out red, blue, green, and white pills on the kitchen's counter, wondering which would be the best way to arrange them. In her head, she heard a small, thin whisper -- the smallest hint of an echoed voice, the voice of the blue-haired demon.

Keep the blue pill for yourself, the voice advised.

"And the others?" Ally asked. But the voice had gone silent. Ally would have to make that decision herself. The tea whistled, and Ally quickly poured out four cups. But how to arrange them... She dropped the blue pill in her own cup -- as advised -- and was left then with red, green, and white pills for Sister Enna, Isabella, and Moto...

She could think of no logic behind assigning one over the other. Sister Enna would get white, Isabella would get green, and Moto would get red. Why not? She dissolved the pills into the hot, steaming water of the tea, and then brought them all, carefully, on a tray back to the library.

Ally passed out the cups carefully, wishing she had a notebook to document any changes, however slight, in her allies and enemies. She took a sip of her own tea.

"We put the clues together while you were gone," Sister Enna said, drinking in the tea Ally brought her. No changes on first sip, Ally noted. "The clue reads: Six hours in the dungeons your next tasked revealed; together with another if you hope to succeed. Seems like a couple of us are gonna have to sit in the dungeons then. I assume you know where to find a place to sit and wait?"

"One of the cells?" Ally offered, asking as much as telling. "Yeah we should be able to find them."

"Oh my god, Ally, what's in this tea?" Isabella asked. For a moment, Ally was terrified her plot would be discovered, until Isabella continued, "This is the best tea I've ever had in my life!"

"It is quite good," Moto agreed, his Congolese accent becoming easier and easier of Ally to understand, the more she listened.

She took another sip of her own tea, waiting. Waiting. Until...

"Ally..." Isabella said. "What's happening to you?"

"To me?" Ally asked, placing a hand on her cheek. She rushed towards the library's standing mirror to see and -- oh, god. She was beautiful. Her eyes glittered with luminescent blue, like her eyes had become the sea's reflection of the stars. Her hair -- usually a mess of dark knots -- had lightened, slightly, and gained volume, until it fell down her back as though she were an elegant countess. Her chest had grown, somehow, even fuller over the past minute, now stretching out the wet fabric of her T-shirt. Even her stomach shrunk, giving her a strangely full hourglass shape, while remaining thin as a stick. She gasped at her own reflection.

This is what she had always wanted to look like.

"What in the world..." Ally mused, smiling at her own, sudden beauty.
