Chapter 67 by SG SG

Do they?

Of course!

Madison's crumpled form rose and she looked around the room before gasping with shock at the sight of Erica sprawled out on the couch with Andrew two knuckles deep in her.

"Oh, goodness! What is happening here? Where am I?" she asked.

"Shit!" Ross said and quickly unbound her. "I forgot that her default script isn't set up to be ok with this stuff. Andrew, get your finger out of Erica and unbind her!"

Andrew complied, but rather than unbinding her he only released the modifier. "I could have told you that the schoolmarm would be rather cross on seeing anyone having fun," Erica said dismissively. "If you hadn't taken my ability to talk, that is."

"Just unbind her already!" Ross snapped.

"And have Professor Madison wake up with a naked golem on the couch?" Andrew countered. "Erica, come on. I'm gonna unbind you in the bedroom."

"Finally," she said, and followed him. A few seconds later Ross heard her frame crumple to the ground, and moments later Andrew reappeared with the case of modifiers, followed by Erica.

"Madison's script," he explained and the professor gave a goofy grin and a thumbs-up.

"Spotted this case and I figured it might be useful," she said as she handed over the modifiers. "I don't really know what you're doing but I figured it involves golems, since last time you bound this script to me they were all you could talk about."

They began looking through the case. After a brief discussion they settled on several modifier scripts. One made Madison completely compliant and willing to help with anything they need, another made her acknowledge her status as a golem, and the third required her complete honesty. Ross argued that they were redundant but they decided that redundancy was worthwhile in uncharted territory.

A few seconds later, Madison was standing again and staring at the two scripts. Once the initial shock had worn off, she smiled politely.

"So, it appears you've got yourself a golem assistant. I assume you'd like me to perform sexual favors for you?"

"What?" Ross said. "Why?"

She chuckled. "When you activated me earlier, he was giving her a quite personal massage. Now you've activated me and modified me to be completely compliant to your will. What would you think if you were me?"

"Good point," Andrew said. "No, we need to ask you about nitrogen."

"The element?" she asked with amusement. "You should have gotten a chemistry professor script, I'm afraid."

"Your script reacts to it," Andrew said pointedly. "How? What does it do?"

Madison suddenly looked pained, as if stricken with a migraine. "I- I'm afraid I don't have anything to say about that."

"But your soil is not nitrated," Ross said. "The script was in this canister, soaking in nitrogen before we bound it to you. Do you have anything to say about that?"

Madison closed her eyes and breathed heavily for a second. When she opened them, her right eyes was bloodshot. "Paper," she croaked. "Pen and paper."

Ross rushed to get it to her as she sat as his dining room table. Her hands were trembling slightly and she focused her gaze on the table in front of her. He handed her the writing tools and stepped back expectantly.

"Question," she said laboriously. "Ask me a question."

"What?"

"Ask... me... a question. Anything at all, anything at all, just ask!" She was almost shouting.

"What's two plus two?" Andrew blurted out.

"Four," she said angrily. "Subjective. Ask me about... dog names."

"What's a good dog name?" Ross asked hesitantly.

She wrote down the word Rover in a trembling, unsteady script. "More. Random."

"What's your favorite month? What type of wine do you like? Where's a good vacation spot? Who's the best baseball player of all time?"

Madison was scribbling out answers on the paper. A bead of sweat crossed her brow as she concentrated. When she finished she slammed the pen down and turned the paper over. She turned to them, panting, and they were alarmed to see that both of her eyes were bloodshot.

"Alright... ok. I don't have anything to say, but here's what I want you to do. I... don't have anything to say about that." She was clearly struggling, so Ross spoke up to try to help her.

"I know you don't have anything to say about it," he said soothingly. "That's ok. You don't need to say anything. You can just nod if I say something that sounds good and shake your head if I say something that sounds bad, alright?"

She nodded. "I still won't have anything to say about... nrgghhh."

"I know, I know, we'll just see how far we can get. Now, hypothetically, do you think I should take this paper from you?"

She nodded and slid it forward, so he took it.

"I have it now. What if I showed it to you again? Would that be good?" A head shake. Ross was starting to get a sense of what she was driving at. Andrew and Erica just sat aside, letting them work it out.

"It might be good to ask you those questions again, theoretically." A nod.

"What if I asked you those questions again after the nitrogen wore off?" She winced in pain and he formulated his question. "What if I asked you those questions again in a little while?" She nodded enthusiastically, then sighed with relief.

With that, Ross deactivated her. The script fluttered to the ground and he snatched it up. Erica was looking on with some amusement.

"I don't know what you guys are up to," she said with a mischievous grin, "but I'm in!"

What are they up to?
