The Rematch

I made my decision, watching as time slowly returned to normal and seeing Thor throw his hammer at me. I dodged it on instinct as Thor got smashed with a haymaker from Mammoth, getting sent flying towards me. I immediately threw out a punch that hit that small of his back. He turned and called his hammer back to him, starting his swing for my head the moment it landed in his hand. I managed to leap out of the way, one of Jinx's bolts hitting him as she joined in helping Mammoth wear down Thor. I switched off to help with Widow and Hawkeye, nearly getting hit with the redhead's tasers several times before I managed to land a kick into her side and send her slamming into a wall.

I barely managed to dodge the arrow launched at me at nearly the same time, Private moved to attack Widow while I made a mad dash for Hawkeye. A few arrows were fired at me, but not fast enough to stop me catching up to him. He tried fighting me up close, collapsing his bow to try and use it like a staff against me instead, which worked until my Axe cleaved it in two before I kicked him hard enough to go out a nearby window and fall to his ****. If I hadn't seen his name get crossed out on the targets list I would have been worried about him getting back up. That's two down. Next target? Widow. It didn't take long honestly, to be fair though she was swarmed pretty fast. She'd tried some acrobatic bullshit but Jinx came in with some sort of spinning axe kick that hit the back of Widow's head. The CRACK we heard a moment later was something of hers breaking, followed by her vanishing from the fight.

Unknown to me is that since absorbing the Arc Reactor, my mask had changed my appearance, further helping to hide distinguishing marks, changing my hair to a SHOCKING white, the eye sockets of the mask changing the color of my eyes to a glowing red.

That left the 3 tanks for lack of a better term, with our team pulling back together, surrounding Cage, Cap and a fairly beaten up Thor. The god of thunder would go down first, and a quick message to the others had every smiling. Jinx started by blasting Cage away, Gizmo used a gadget that hit Steve with concussive **** strong enough to send him flying a different way. Thor moved to aid them as the rest of Jinx's team split off to swarm Rogers and Cage. I put myself between Thor and his friends. My mask spreading a wide grin along it, the mouth not moving as the head tilted sideways slowly the more I spoke. "Where are you going Odinson? Don't you want **** for Tony?" With the last word my mask SNAPPED back into place like nothing had happened. Thor leaped at me a moment later, swinging his hammer at me. He seemed, slower now, not by a lot but by enough that I could dodge much easier. I wasn't completely faster than him of course, but I was able to avoid a direct hit at least. Then I saw what I was waiting for, his hammer being covered with lightning before his next swing sent a bolt at me...

I didn't explain what my choice had done, did I? After my choice the notification I got was as follows.

So yeah, my mask opened it's mouth as the lightning shot at me, my body absorbing the attack as I flung myself backwards. I thought, why not trick him into helping me absorb MORE electricity? I had hit the wall and cracked it, my mask growling at him "Good shot, but it's gonna take more than a TASER to bring me down." Oh he REALLY didn't like that. I watched him start charging what was clearly gonna be a MUCH larger blast of lightning... A moment later and I found myself actually thrown through the wall I'd cracked not long ago... I wasn't getting up. Thor looked at me before turning and starting to go try and help his friends. I wasn't getting up cause I was really HURT though, no I got a new notification.

It would take me time to get used to flying, but at the moment I was able to use it just well enough to launch myself at Thor, slamming into his back right as he had arrived and was about to blast Mammoth with a lightning bolt. I put him through a wall before we continued our fight, beating down on him as I tried to finish him off as fast as I could. He tried to blast me again with another lightning bolt, I just kept hitting him as one of his hands grabbed at my head before trying to throw me off him. A swing of his hammer landed into my torso, another big blast of lightning slamming into my body. I held onto him before smashing an elbow into his nose, and a moment later he responded by swinging his hammer at my face. I thought for a moment before reacting...
