The main dish

Your friend Cas had volunteered to do the catering for you (for a reduced fee). The Mermade fish and chip Van had been parked up outside the venue and she had left before the speeches to get things ready. Merfolk always makes the best fish and chips they were able to charm fish into being caught getting the biggest and tastiest with no bi-catch. Inspired by an incident she had about a year back she also had added a special dish to the menu; mermaid tail.

Merfolk had remarkable regenerative abilities, this was normally used to allow them to shift their tail for legs to go on land and heal from normally grievous wounds. However, Cas had found that she could remove her tail entirely and regrow it with enough food to provide the necessary nutrients and energy. (for more information read her and Theo's story).

She and a few of her friends for special occasions cut off their tails and healed up with a food binge. They would then freeze them to be deep-fried and served. This was especially popular with larger guests like the two dragons. However, Cas had procured something special for you.

"Well, It's time for the bride and groom to have their first meal as a married couple!" announced Cas. "Aurea for you we have our vegetarian battered sausage, But our groom gets the main event." She hands her food over to your wife "Not just a mermaid tail but a full mermaid." she revealed. "My sister, Joppa has volunteered for a one-way trip down a Dragonborn gullet. No regeneration can save her from this as her body will be consumed," she explained. "The one question is do you want her alive and wiggling or fried up as a one creature surf and turf?" She asked.
