The chimera love triangle ends

The declaration Blake made two weeks ago had been fulfilled. Blake and Ilia laid together all night until the sun rose. They were not due to disembark until much later in the day when they had reached the capital. Blake and Ilia reflect upon the past two weeks after they have a shower. There are still many unanswered questions of what they will do after their confrontation with the White Fang tonight...

Kali successfully negotiated a joint operation between the Menagerie Guard and Mistral police. The net had been cast. Nothing was left for them to do other than prep for the operation tonight.

The night fell upon Haven academy. The first signs of movement from the White Fang were watched closely by Ilia. Covertly, she disarmed explosive charges set by Adam's forces. Ilia also relayed information that the White Fang was not working alone.

There was a very tall human he had been going back and forth with. For reasons unknown, the human went inside of Haven academy... The Mistral police gave the order to assume anyone seen fleeing the vicinity of Haven academy is a conspirator against the kingdoms, White Fang or otherwise.

Blake stood atop a building before calling out to Adam. After exchanging a few words, Blake jumped down to Adam's level- the Menagerie Guard and Mistral police followed suit to secure the perimeter.

Adam was left flabbergasted by the volume of people brought across Remnant to resist him. Also, the fact that Blake would even consider working with the police to confront him. She never liked the police!

Adam attempts to detonate the charges on Haven academy out of spite. He soon learns that Ilia disarmed them all. Predictably, Adam refuses to accept defeat. He charges at Blake recklessly and is thumbed in the back of the head, making him drop his mask. The SDC scar across his eye is seen by all.

Adam’s mark of shame being revealed so publicly rattles him. Adam looks around disoriented while police helicopters shine a spotlight on him. He couldn't handle all this attention.

Adam makes a break for it towards the forest. Blake and Ilia chase after him. They move at breakneck speeds through the forest with one helicopter flying overhead to aid them. Blake fires ice dust shots in an attempt to slow Adam down. He is slippery in the forest, slashing at trees to clear a path or slow down Blake. Ilia struggles to keep up with their pace.

Knowing that he cannot get Blake off his back, Adam jumps into a clearing to fight her head on. His initial clashes with Blake are for sizing her up. He wanted to know how much Blake had learned since they last clashed.

The Mistral police open fire with electric dust shots soon after Adam leaves himself open. Failing to block one of their shots because he was zeroed in on Blake frustrates Adam greatly.

Blake is quick to press the advantage she has with air support. Ilia jumps into the fray shortly thereafter. With Adam scrapping with two people at once, the Mistral police become more hesitant to open fire.

Adam uses the kinetic energy stored up from slashing trees and duelling to launch a Moonslice at the helicopter. It destroys the tail, leaving the helicopter to spin out of control till it hits the ground.

Adam finds his flow in the heat of battle and begins turning the tables. However, Ilia had a secret weapon up her sleeve. Every shadow is cast from a source of light. If Blake's semblance emits a shadow, containing a piece of her soul would naturally produce a semblance for Ilia that interacts with theirs.

The stars of the night sky illuminated the dark battlefield. Adam is able to disarm Ilia of her Lightning Lash. Blake intercepts before he lands a follow up attack.

Adam uses his Moonslice to push Blake away as hard as possible. Gambol Shourd's blade shatters upon impact with Adam's Moonslice. He turns to Ilia as Blake is blown back. Ilia smiles.

"Flashbang!" Ilia shouts as Adam approaches.

Ilia claps her hands together, producing an engulfing shockwave of light and sound. The effect was deafening! Adam is stunned by a burst of light. Ilia accidentally activated a weaker version of her semblance while having sex with Blake in the shower this morning! She had been waiting for the perfect opportunity to use it.

Ilia spent most her life being unseen and unnoticed. Falling in love with Blake allowed Ilia to be loud and proud! Ilia had a semblance that demanded attention! It was loud enough and bright enough to steal the show!

Taking Adam's attention away from Blake gave them a chance to leap at Adam from behind with a chokehold takedown. Ilia joined their wrestling on the ground to subdue Adam. Ilia held his legs while Blake clutched his neck using her legs and pinned his arm.

Adam was a formidable opponent, but without the ability to use his sword, he was a sitting duck. His face turned pink as he struggled to wrestle his sword wielding hand free. The chokehold became too tight for him to escape. Like a rodent caught in the grasp of a boa constrictor, Adam was suffocated to ****.
