She eventually decides to tell Emma, because:

a) she would be too embarrassed to tell a man, especially Xavier,

b) she needed a telepath, and

c) every other woman around here is so straight-laced, it would be more embarrassing than telling a man!

However, Emma used to be a bad guy, err... GIRL, and hopefully wouldn't bat an eye at giving some dude a handjob in a bus...
