Isabella begins the meeting

"Thank you all for coming," she began. "I know these past few days have been difficult for us all, but I wanted to thank you for your loyalty and dedication. Your support is what will see us through this dark time, and I am honored to have such a distinguished group of individuals at my side."

She paused, letting her words sink in. A murmur of assent rose from the gathered ministers, but Isabella sensed a restless energy, an eagerness to get down to business.

"As we all know, the situation is dire. My father's killers are still loose, and the traitor Romero and his allies walks free, confident in their imminent victory. We will prove them wrong. I'm sure Minister Valdes has shared with everyone the papers I discovered, as well as the consequences of failure should we not bring Romero down. Today, we will send a message that the regime is still strong, and will not be toppled so easily. Wolves, not sheep. We will show them what happens when they challenge our power!"

Isabella's voice rose, her anger and frustration seeping through. She felt a rush of satisfaction as her advisors nodded in agreement. Their determination and unity bolstered her resolve. She would not let her father's **** be in vain, or her country be ripped from her grasp.

"But first, we must go through our plan to take Romero down, and there is no room for mistakes. Let's review."

There was a moment of pause as everyone took their seats, staring at her intently. Isabella drew a deep breath, composing herself, and began.

"We hold one advantage over Romero, and that is the fact that he thinks me a weak, little girl, alone and helpless. I will play into his misconceptions and use his complacency against him, giving him the false sense of security he needs. Then, when he's let his guard down, we will strike and bring him down."

Isabella rolled open a map of Valverde onto the table, strategic areas highlighted and circled.

"If he stays in his stronghold, surrounded by his private army of bodyguards it will be difficult to dislodge him without significant bloodshed. There is also no way of guarantueeing capturing him alive, so that we may obtain information about Mr. Green and his other allies. Therefore, we must lure him into the Palace, where we will have the element of surprise. We will give him a bait he cannot resist."

Isabella took a deep breath, looking at the people around the table.

"That bait is me. Romero made me an offer three days ago, after the Cabinet meeting. He told me to look for him once I failed in my attempts to gather support, and surrender myself to him. He has not said explicitly what he would do to me, but we all know what men like him want."

She glanced at her mother, who nodded grimly.

"So I will accept his offer and pretend to be a ****, pathetic little girl. Then, once he is here in the palace, we can spring the trap. I will have to meet him privately, as he expects, but it will give us the opportunity to take him into custody afterwards."

She pointed at a spot on the map, a secluded meeting place within the Palace.

"This is where we will strike. A detachment of Valdes' elite secret policemen will surround the room and capture Romero, while a second ****, comprising of crack commandos from the military, will neutralize his followers and strongholds around the city. Now, the military isn't as familiar with the territory inside city limits, so Carlos will request his business contacts to provide cover vehicles such as delivery trucks, as well as local guides. It is imperative that this plan is carried out swiftly and without hesitation. Any questions?"

The gathered ministers looked at each other, then back at her, their faces grave. One by one, they shook their heads.

"Very well. Let's make it happen."

Isabella's eyes were hard, her face set. Her voice was firm and resolute. This was the end of Romero, the end of the coup attempt. Her father's legacy would be preserved, her country safe.

And Romero would pay.
