Rise Kujikawa

Ann decided to invite over Rise Kujikawa, an idol she often modeled with.

Despite being three years Ann's senior, Rise always insisted Ann call her Rise-chan, and despite her status as a popular idol, Rise never acted like she was better than Ann.

Ann got lucky that Rise was in Tokyo for a photoshoot she was doing in Shibuya. After the shoot wrapped up, Rise made her way to Ann's house.

"Hi Ann!" Rise said cheerily, blowing a kiss Ann's way.

"Hi Rise-chan!' Ann giggled. "I didn't realize you had a shoot today!"

Rise rolled her eyes. "Yeah, for some commercial. Some of my friends from Inaba came along with me, so I figured we could do a girls' day."

"That sounds fun!" Ann said. "Can I come?"

"Sure," said Rise. "So, what exactly did you want to talk about?"

"Well, I told you how I was researching hypnosis for a few months? I think I've got it down, and I need a test subject."

"I'd be honored," said Rise.

"Great!" Ann patted the edge of her bed, signaling Rise to sit there.

Ann dug out an old necklace she had with a pendant on the end of it, and she swung it in front of Rise's face.

"Watch the pendant," said Ann, trying her best to sound like the hypnotists she heard on the Internet. "And as you follow it, you'll find yourself getting very sleepy."

Rise couldn't take her eyes off the pendant.

"Your eyelids are becoming heavy, it's getting harder to keep them open."

Rise's head began to lull to one side.

"And now, when I count down to one, you'll be asleep."

"3..."

"2..."

"1..."

Rise's head leaned forward, eyes shut, snoring softly.

"Yes!" said Ann. "I knew it would work. Well, okay, I didn't KNOW, but I'm glad it did work!"

She looked over the snoring Rise.
