A Mother's Love

Katie came over to her childhood home. It'd been clear she'd been crying. She poured a bowl of Froot Loops, adding some milk and frumped against the kitchen table, her perfect ass enveloping the stool.

"Everything okay, kiddo?" Elizabeth asked delicately.

"Yes ... well ... no," Katie said. "You ... you were right. Dad wasn't great. But I'm not going to destroy his legacy for career advancement either." She broke down into tears again. The decision hadn't been easy, which made her feel even more guilty. Elizabeth crossed the table, taking her daughter into her arms.

"I know it's tough, to realize your heroes aren't what you thought they were. I feel the same way about Grandpa. But family first, right?" Katie nodded, crying it out all the same.
