Studying in the Library

As the final bell rang out, singling the final class of the day all the students made their way to their lockers, ready to grab their things and head home but Makoto, on the other hand was making her way towards the library, ready to start her usual after school studies. Walking through the halls, Makoto makes it to the library and walks in to the usual library assistant behind the front desk. Makoto looks around to see if anyone else was their, and to her luck, it seemed it was just the two of them, perfect for her so that nobody would be able to detract her from her studies. Makoto walks towards the back of the library, to his usual spot, which is a pretty secluded place. Setting down her bag, she pulls out the chair and sits down, grabbing out of her bag some books and the homework she has to do.

Makoto begins her homework and does some early studying for some upcoming tests, but after about 20 minutes, she heard the library door open, then a familiar sounding voice talking with the library assistant, asking them a question that she couldn't quite hear, but she could've sworn she heard her name brought up. Thinking she had just imagined it, Makoto goes back to studying, guessing it probably has nothing to do with her. A few moments later, Makoto looks up from her papers and is surprised to see a face she knows peeking around a bookcase looking right back at her.
