Chapter 5

Guess it's time to summon a Servant then
Time for Summoning

As Rin arrived at her family’s once grand home, she noted with satisfaction that everything looked exactly as she’d left it. She walked up the familiar stone path, which she’d always known to have a few worn patches and cracks...but time had not been kind to the manor...especially with the shitty priest managing her finances.
“Hmph, Kirei should have fixed this path a long time ago,” she mumbled, passing over it.
The pathway transformed seamlessly beneath her steps, the cracks smoothing out into flawless stone without a sound. Rin, though, didn’t have any reason to glance back, so she simply is left to assums she’d misremembered just how worn the path had been.
Once inside, she went straight to her room, her mind racing with thoughts of the ritual. “This needs to go perfectly,” she murmured to herself, unconsciously willing her preparations into being with each word. “I've got this all ready...everything right where I need it.”
As she moved around the room, collecting her ritual components, each item seemed to almost place itself into her hand, responding to her slightest movements. The atmosphere around her grew more energized, as if the room itself was bending to her unspoken will, accommodating her every need. Even the air felt lighter, charged with the energy she unknowingly exuded.
By the time Rin had laid out her summoning circle, the room was ready, her materials perfectly aligned, and her energy sharp and unwavering.
“Tonight, I will summon Saber,” she whispered, her eyes blazing with determination.
The words, though spoken only to herself, seemed to echo, carrying an unintended weight. The power within her pulsed, affirming her declaration in a way she still hadn’t fully realized. Everything was set, and her intention had been spoken into reality.
Stepping into the center of the circle, Rin raised her Command Seal-marked hand and prepared with the summoning incantation ready on her lips. Then she began to speak, the ancient words resonating as she poured her magical energy into the ritual...her voice itself carrying magic in this moment. Tonight, Saber will be mine, she thought, the confidence in her voice unknowingly making her wish more than just a hopeful desire.
"For the elements silver and iron. For the foundation, stone, and the archduke of contracts. For the ancestor, my great master Schweinorg. Close the gates of the cardinal directions.
Come forth from the Crown, and follow the forked road to the Kingdom.
Fill. Fill. Fill. Fill. Fill.
Repeat five times. But when each is filled, destroy it. Set.
Heed my words. My will creates your body, and your sword creates my destiny.
If you heed the Grail's call and obey my will and reason, then answer me.
I hereby swear...
That I shall be all the good in the world.
And that I shall defeat all the evil in the world.
You seven heavens, clad in the three great words of power, come forth from the circle of binding.... Guardian of the scales!"

How does the ritual end?

Truth of the Matter
Words DO mean something
A man or woman gains the power to speak things into reality: What they say, goes. Will they be responsible with this power? Will they use it to make the world a better place? Or will they change the world around them for their own pleasure?
