Chapter 57 by Chip_Arranger Chip_Arranger

Speaking of, what is Charlotte up to?

Carpe Diem

"...if you can catch me!" Charlotte suddenly said, running away from Kathryn and Lauren.

"Charlotte!" Kathryn exclaimed. "Dammit, I'll talk to you later, Lauren!"

The pair ran away from Lauren, leaving the older girl standing there, a bit stunned. Charlotte had never felt so free before, like a massive societal weight had been lifted off of her shoulders. With that massive societal weight came with the issue that she was incredibly horny, but it wasn't at quite a debilitating level.

"How the fuck can you run so fast, Charlotte?" Kathryn gasped as she stopped for air.

"Guess that's just my nimble cheerleading figure," Charlotte stopped to pose for the analyst. "Do you like it? How my cur-"

"That's not what I meant," Kathryn unexpectedly cut her off.

"Damn," Charlotte's face contorted into an over-exaggerated frown. "Well, I know where I can find someone who'll appreciate my newfound energy! Later, Kathy!"

"It's Kathryn, you-aaand, she's gone," Kathryn looked up to see the cheerleader running off into the distance. "I guess I should probably recruit some help to try and make sure she doesn't do something stupid."

Kathryn began walking briskly back to the bungalows to see if she could find the help of someone with Charlotte's newfound lack of inhibitions. It wasn't even like her inhibitions were lowered, it was just like she had become some sort of crazed sex maniac.

"Was she trying to seduce me or something back there?" Kathryn wondered. "I mean, it sure felt like she was, striking a pose for me and everything. I know in the wrong hands on this island, that's gonna be a dangerous combination. Especially if Paige finds her like this, that's my main worry."

With that newfound worry in her head, she rushed back to the housing row. Becca and Paige's house was obviously a no, because it was a 50/50 on who would answer the door, and she didn't really think Becca would be all that helpful in this situation. Emma...definitely not, those two would form some reinforcing feedback loop with Emma's clumsiness and threesome desire. Mandy didn't really have the athleticism to help, although she could help come up with ideas.

"Aha, Abby and Liam," she thought as she ran up to the third house. "They'll probably be some help."

After ascending the stairs two at a time, she rapped her knuckles on the door frantically, hoping that at least one of them was home. She heard rustling inside and soon after, Lana opened the door, looking just as worried as Kathryn felt.

"You gotta help, is Abby there with you?" Kathryn asked.

"I'm not an exhibitionist," Charlotte thought to herself. "But goddamn, do I really feel like one right now."

She felt as carefree as a toddler, though she grimaced a bit at that comparison she'd just made. Only, thanks to Lauren, she was incredibly fucking horny.

"What if I were to just...in the forest..." her mind filled in the blanks, but then she suddenly stopped myself. "Nope, nope, nope. Not an exhibitionist."

Every time she said that she wasn't an exhibitionist, however, she could feel more of her resolve slipping away, until eventually it may be too late.

"I've gotta deal with this arousal, right?" she rationalized. "That's what's going on, my other transformation is kicking in, and I really don't want to be in this state on my night with Turner tomorrow, lest he get the wrong idea about me."

Problem being, she was a bit on an island when it came to people here. Both a literal island and a social island, as none of the contestants seemed to be attracted to her.

"Only one that comes close is Sara, but she's not really attracted to me, just the romantic aspects of me," she gloomed. "Not like I can't try and convince her though, I could tell Kathryn was getting close to breaking."

Kathryn, in fact, was not close to breaking. Charlotte either didn't notice or didn't care, and started skipping back to Sara, who was likely in the main plaza area. As she neared, though, she once again saw Kathryn, who locked eyes briefly with her.

"You're back," Kathryn stated.

"Yep!" Charlotte said with more enthusiasm than anybody else would've in response to those two words. "Why do you say that, you reconsidering what I said earlier? I mean, just look at-"

"That's not what I'm talking about at all," Kathryn sighed, exasperated. "I'm trying to keep...this...all contained so you're not running around like a maniac."

"Aw, but that's no fun," Charlotte pouted. "I'm not a maniac either, I'm just a little horny."

"Never said you were a maniac, I said you were running around like a maniac," Kathryn corrected. "And that's exactly why, your transformation compels you to do it because of what Lauren did to you earlier today. Now, if you don't mind, I'm gonna-"

"Race you to Sara's!" Charlotte suddenly said.

"Dammit!" Kathryn exclaimed as the spunky girl took off.

Charlotte wasn't exactly sure why she told Kathryn where she was off to next, mainly because the analyst was being a bit of a killjoy when it came to her fun. She wrote that off, though, because it was becoming increasingly fun to just wind her up a little bit. That could be future Charlotte's problem to deal with.

She rapped her knuckles on the door to Sara and Kathryn's house, the former answering the door soon after.

"Hey Charlotte, woah, what happened to you?" Sara did an about-face after seeing the state she was in. Flushed cheeks, ragged breathing, sweating a little bit. "Did you go for a midday run or something?"

"It's already midday?" Charlotte asked, completely missing the main point of Sara's line of questioning. "Anyway, uh, I guess it'd be better for Kathryn to explain it, and she should be here in a few seconds."

"Yeah, it's already midday, Kendra told me something about how time flows differently," Sara likewise followed the same order of questions. "But what do you mean Kathryn should be here in a few seconds? Why is she more equipped to explain it than you are, given that it's happening to you?"

"Hey Sara," Kathryn said, catching up to Charlotte and breathing heavily.

"Woah, okay, what the heck is going on, are you two racing around the island or something?" Sara's mind was drawing a complete blank, and that was the only explanation that could possibly make sense.

"In a way," Charlotte's eyes gleamed knowingly.

"What's actually going on is..." Kathryn took a deep breath both to catch her breath and to start her dialogue. "Lauren is on her date with Turner today and she didn't want to deal with her arousal so she pawned it off to somebody, our very own Charlotte here, and now she's running around like a frenzied nymphomaniac and I'm trying to make sure someone doesn't take advantage of it. Someone like Paige or Becca, most likely."

"Uh...okay...that's definitely not something that I thought was gonna happen today," Sara shook her head, as if that would make the information processing any easier. "Wait, why did you come to my door, Charlotte?"

"Well, Kathryn wasn't interested, but y'know, if you were-" Charlotte began.

"Nope, nope, that's not happening," Kathryn interjected a little quicker than any of the three of them expected her to. "She's trying to seduce you or something, she tried that with me earlier."

"I wouldn't say 'seduce'..." Charlotte said tantalizingly.

"I would," Kathryn responded, not taking the bait.

"Wait, you chose me over everyone else?" Sara asked Charlotte.

"Yeah, I just figured-" Charlotte began, but her voice became a blur to Sara, whose eyes were starting to glaze over.

"Ooookay, you're not helpful," Kathryn slowly turned from Sara to the blabbering cheerleader, the former entranced and the latter going on and on about nothing important. Well, it seemed pretty important to Sara's romanticism, but nothing important to anyone sane.

"If only someone on this island was willing to help me instead of telling me I'm burdening her or something," Kathryn silently wished, looking wistfully over the waves crashing over the ocean.

She was drawn out of her brooding by the sound of the door slamming behind her and the telltale "click" signaling that the door was locked.

"Wait, what the-dammit Charlotte!" Kathryn swore. "You can't just lock me out of my own house! And you're no better, Sara!"

How long had it been since Charlotte disappeared into the house with Sara? Minutes? Hours? The sun was beginning to set, but Kathryn's sense of time could tell that time seemed to flow differently on this island, with the days going by quick and evenings dragging on forever, likely so whoever was on a date with Turner could maximize their chances.

With her room currently...occupied by Sara and Charlotte doing God knows what in there, Kathryn had been sitting in the central area when she was approached by Lana.

"Hey, what're you doing here?" Lana simply asked as she sat down on the chair opposite Kathryn.

"Sara and Charlotte are at my place, they locked me out," Kathryn explained. "Not entirely sure why, but Charlotte's been running around like what I can best describe as a 'sex-crazed nympho', if that provides you any clues."

"Ah, you've ben sexiled," Lana nodded.

"I've been what now?" Kathryn asked.

"Y'know, sexiled," Lana repeated. "Have you never heard that before?"

"No...what is it?"

"You're telling me you never got sexiled by your roommates in college?"

"Considering I don't know what that is, no!"

"Okay, well, basically, it's a mix between 'sex' and 'exiled', if that wasn't obvious enough," Lana explained. "My roommates in college did that all the time, they'd bring some guy over that they met at a frat and it'd be all downhill from there, I'd usually end up crashing with Turner. He was cool about it."

"I thought you didn't go to college...at least that's what you told me..." Kathryn narrowed her eyes.

Lana stood there looking a bit shell-shocked as the two parts of her brain competed. Liam had never gone to college, preferring to stay home with his mom, but Lana's mom apparently had insisted on her going off to college.

"Oh, is this some sort of Liam/Lana dichotomy thing?" Kathryn smartly realized. When she realized Lana wasn't responding, she retracted her former statement with "Oh wait, you did tell me you were going to college, that's right."

Thankfully, that seemed to stop whatever was happening to Lana. Kathryn stored that experience as "maybe Kendra wasn't as thorough when she put the custom transformation onto Lana", but otherwise moved on from it.

"Anyways, yeah, that's basically it, it's when your roommate is having sex with someone and exiles you to sleep somewhere else for the night," Lana finished.

"Oh, that's not what's happening with Sara and Charlotte, I can assure you," Kathryn shook her head. "But why don't I believe the words coming out of my mouth? And why does that bother me?"

"Do you really believe that?" Lana questioned, mirroring Kendra's internal thoughts. "Because you came here, saying that Charlotte was acting like a horny fool, is staying in your room, where you're apparently not allowed for the foreseeable future, and you didn't exactly sound all that convincing when you were telling me that just now."

"...I don't know," Kathryn admitted.

"Wow, the rare occurrence where Kathryn doesn't know something," Lana raised her eyebrow. "Guess I should mark the occasion because it's anyone's guess when that's gonna happen again."

"You've only known me for less than a month," Kathryn reminded her.

"Yeah, but that's more than enough time to have you all figured out," Lana rebutted. "I'm calling you smart, don't go around saying you're not."

"Well thank you," Kathryn took the compliment.

"Well well well, what do we have here?" Paige cocked her hip as she looked at the scene in front of her.

Sara and Charlotte weren't having sex, but it was clear that there was a ravenous look on both of their faces. Paige had only come by to try and ask for Sara's help, but what she saw through the window on her approach was far more interesting.

Not wanting to catch them in the act, she knocked on the front door and tried the door handle. Locked.

"Probably as it should be," she shrugged. "Although...I wonder if they remembered to lock the back door in their frenzy."

She circled around the house and climbed up onto the back deck of Sara and Kathryn's place to try the back door, which, lo and behold, was unlocked.

As the door swung open to everyone involved's surprise, Paige stopped in the doorway in shock, while Sara and Charlotte froze on the bed. They had just been watching movies for the last little bit, but Charlotte was sitting on Sara's lap which was closer than Paige thought either of them were with each other.

"Uh...hi Sara," Paige managed.

"Hi Paige!" Charlotte cheerfully responded. Even in the dim light, Paige could make up her flushed face, but she chalked it up to her being a little embarrassed to be caught in this compromising spot.

"Hey, what's going on," Sara cooly responded. Her face was likewise redder than a tomato, but Paige also attributed that to the same as Charlotte. "Any reason you decided to come in through the porch? Y'know, the porch you can only get onto from inside the house?"

"Just wanted to talk with you really quickly," Paige defended.

"By coming in when the front door was locked?" Sara countered.

"Not my fault," Paige threw her hands up in desperation.

"Okay, okay, sure, fine, whatever," Sara rattled off, trying to make sense of the situation. "What is it that you came in here to talk with me about?"

"Has Turner seemed off to you?" Paige asked.

"Has he seemed off to me?" Sara repeated. "What do you mean?"

"I mean, he was acting kinda flippant on my date night, I just wanted to know if he was acting like that with you," Paige clarified.

"Maybe it's because you're his ex-girlfriend," Sara noted. "If I had to guess, that's probably why it wasn't the hit that you imagined it was gonna be."

"I mean more than usual," Paige shot down.

"Hate to break it to you, but we've been here 15 days," Sara mentioned. "I'm hardly gonna know what the guy is like on a date night after going on two with him."

"More than I've gone on with him recently," Paige countered.

"The same as you've gone on with him recently," Sara corrected. "Just because they didn't go as far as you envisioned doesn't mean that they're not dates."

"That's not the point," Paige changed the subject. "Actually, Charlotte, since you're here, this is perfect."

"Yep!" Charlotte immediately responded, before looking a bit confused. "Wait, what am I perfect for?"

"Your date night with Turner is tomorrow, right?" Paige asked.

"Y...yes?" Charlotte stammered.

"Can you see if something's off with him?" Paige continued.

"Hate to break it to you, Paige, but I'm in the same boat as Sara," Charlotte looked downcast.

"Oh, well then I can clue you in to what he's like normally if you want," Paige offered.

"I mean, I'm kinda staying with Sara right now..." Charlotte trailed off.

"Well, if you want to, you're more than welcome to join me," Paige continued. "It's not like Lauren's gonna be in y'all's room tonight, but Kathryn'll eventually come back."

"Okay!" Charlotte bounced off of Sara's lap with less decorum than usual, which was saying something.

"Are you serious?" Sara looked at Paige with narrowed eyes. "Charlotte, you don't have to entertain her whims, I'm not really sure what she's trying to play at right now."

"Oh Sara, I'm not playing at anything right now," Paige said patronizingly. "I just want Charlotte to know what she's getting into if I'm gonna gain intel from her."

"See, right there, that's playing at something," Sara pointed out, before turning to Charlotte. "If you don't want to go with her, you don't have to."

"I mean, if you don't want to, it's your funeral," Paige shrugged, before walking off.

Charlotte comically looked between the two people fighting over her like she was the kid that a divorced couple was trying to get to side with them, instead of two random people fighting over who she went off with. While she was having fun with Sara, nothing seemed to be coming of it, and Paige might be a more new and exciting prospect. On the other hand, Paige was also manipulative, and if something happened between the two of them, it would surely be hung over her head. Back to the first hand, though, Kathryn was sure to come back at some point, and Charlotte had the bungalow to herself...

That was what made the decision in Charlotte's arousal-fogged mind. She walked out with Paige, the pair using the front door this time.

"That was weird," Sara mused. "And also frustrating. Paige came in at just the wrong time, just when Charlotte and I were about to get to the good stuff-ugh!"

As Paige and Charlotte walked down the boardwalk, it was clear there was someone who was more in charge than the other. Paige had this smug look on her face as if she was up to no good, and Charlotte was none the wiser, eagerly hoping that maybe this time would be the time she could get through one of the girls. After doing a quick 360-degree check for Kathryn, Charlotte deemed the coast clear and the pair walked into her and Lauren's house.

"So," Paige simply said once they stepped in. "I have to admit, I brought you here under false pretenses."

"What do you mean?" Charlotte asked, silently getting her hopes up.

"I don't think anything's wrong with Turner at all," Paige nonchalantly shrugged. "In fact, things are never better with him."

"So...why did you follow me into my house?" Charlotte slightly hopped in excitement. "Alone?"

"Weeeeeeeell," Paige began, hanging on the syllable for dramatic effect. "Word gets around quickly on this island, especially when it comes to big news like what happened this morning?"

"This morning?" Charlotte echoed, not seeing where Paige was going with this.

"About your little mishap with Lauren," Paige clarified.

"Oh..." Charlotte's face turned from its normal pale color to a deep crimson. "What about it?"

"Do you need some help with that before your date with Turner?" Paige pointedly asked. "It's the least I can to do make up with Turner for all of the trouble I've caused him."

"I mean, I won't say no..." Charlotte moved towards the other blonde girl. "Although, you did cut me and Sara off at a pretty bad time."

"I know," Paige thought. "I had no idea, I just wanted her advice."

"Wait a second," Charlotte realized. "You just said this was under false pretenses. That you really didn't want her advice, you just wanted to talk with me about this. What was so wrong with Sara?"

"Didn't want her to pull farther away in the competition, that's what," Paige internally screamed, but realized it would get her no brownie points with the girl in front of her if she said it out loud. "I just feel like, after what Sara did with Turner, do you really want her sloppy seconds?"

"I guess that makes sense..." Charlotte swayed back and forth as she mulled it over.

"And the Oscar goes to...me," Paige applauded herself.

"I mean, do you even know what you're doing?" Charlotte asked. "Have you ever even kissed a girl before?"

"No, but how hard could it be?" Paige shrugged.

Charlotte just rolled her eyes, mirroring Kathryn's thoughts of "It's so hard to find good help these days." She pushed that down, though. This would have to do.

"Do you want to?" she responded with, to which Paige nodded.

It would be Charlotte who closed the gap between the two of them, leading the pair to the empty bed in the center of the room. She brought her face closer to Paige's, but waited on the other to make the first move, which she did. Paige lightly grazed Charlotte's lips with her own a few times, seemingly building up her courage to go through with this, before finally giving in and powerfully mashing them against Charlotte's.
