Chapter 60 by DakotaDave DakotaDave

Let them cook

Dinner and. . .

They made chili, Scott had to show Jenn how to cut vegetables properly (close enough for amateurs at least) but she picked most things up pretty fast, she did struggle to measure out spices with Scott’s hands on her ass. The chili had simmered down nicely when the cornbread was finished, and they all gathered to eat.

“Scott, this chili is damn good, you ever entered it in the cookoff?” Bob asked.

“I haven’t, it’s Angel’s recipe, I think she won with it one year.”

Bob looked at him. “I thought it tasted familiar, but it doesn’t taste exactly like hers.”

“Yeah, there’s some secret ingredient, it’s seriously just listed as ‘secret ingredient’ on her recipe, and she won’t tell me what it is.”

“Anyway, thanks for cooking, Jenn always wanted to try cooking, but she never had anyone to show her. I’m worthless in a kitchen, so she never had much hope.”

“Hey, I learned to grill, I can make a mean steak.”

“Really?” Scott asked, “I never knew that.”

“Yeah, you remember old Jim, he would let me help him grill when the club would meet up at the lake.”

“I was never at one of those, Angel said biker rallies were no place for kids.”

“Your Aunt wasn’t wrong, but it wasn’t that bad, right Jenn?” Bob’s face was a mix of concerned and defensive.

“As long as I didn’t leave our cabin I didn’t see anything, but yeah, probably wasn’t the best of influences.”

Bob looked sad.

“Oh dad, I turned out fine, and the club is like family, I don’t know where I’d be without aunt Gert or Jean. Lots of things weren’t ideal, but that doesn’t make them bad. You gave me a much better childhood than you had, even after mom passed, I can’t complain.”

Scott had heard a bit of her dad’s story, it wasn’t pretty. He was a great example of a person doing their best with what they had.

Bob offered to clean up dinner, so Scott and Jenn headed back to her room.

Scott laid down on her bed. He was tired, it had been a rough week, and things finally felt like they were settling down and looking up. He sighed.

“You eat too much?”

“No, just feels like I’m finally able to relax.”

“I’m sorry Scott, I know I haven’t made it easy on you.”

“It’s okay Jenn.”

“You keep saying that.”

“Yeah, and it keeps being true.”

“I’m serious Scott.”

“Me too.”

He sat up and looked at Jenn, she was clearly bothered.

“I know I’ve been unfair to you, I know I’ve been difficult Scott, you can’t just keep telling me it’s okay. If I’m treating you poorly you have to tell me, don’t let me treat you like that.”

“Jenn. . .”

“I want to be good to you Scott, I don’t want to feel like I’m bad for you, like you’d be better off with someone else.”

“Is this about Lydia?”

Jenn started crying.

“Oh Jenn.” Scott stood up and hugged her, holding her into his chest.

“I want you Jenn, I don’t want anyone else.”

“I’m no good for you.”

“You are too hard on yourself.”

“And you are way too easy on me.”

Scott laughed.

“Jenn, I trust you. You’ve always been loyal to me, always been there for me. Someone else might be easier to live with, but I don’t need that, I need someone that will stick with me.”

“So you’re okay with the **** as long as I only **** you?” She said accusatorily.

“Jenn, you beat yourself up too much.”

“Seriously, Scott, look at our past, hell, even since you’ve come back, I haven’t been good to you.”

Scott scowled. He understood Jenn’s insecurities, he’d been around it a long time, but this was too far. “Look Jenn, there are times where I got the worst of our relationship, but that’s a small part of it. For goodness sake, you beat up people for me, listened to my issues and whining, lost friends over me, and for Christ’s sake, you rebuilt Audrey and tried to stay in touch with me when I ran away and cut you off.”

He took her face in his hands, made her meet his eyes. “You’ve always been there when I need you, even when I didn’t realize it Jenn. I’ll take some rough patches and hard times as a trade off on that any day.”

She smiled weakly.

“I wouldn’t trade you for the world Jenn.”

She kissed him, tenderly and long. His hands found her back, and her ass.

“And besides, your ass is worth it.” He said, smiling when they broke their kiss.

She punched him. “Do you know how hard I have to work to keep that ass from blowing up? It’s my worst feature and the only one people notice.”

“We notice it because it’s amazing.” Scott said, grabbing and rubbing her butt.

“Hey, I owe you, remember, let go of me.”

“So my repayment is not getting to touch you? That sounds more like a punishment.”

Jenn started undoing his pants. “Maybe you like the punishment.” She stroked his dick through his boxers.

“I mean, I’m not going. . .”

“What was that Scott? You trailed off.” She pulled the waistband down, ran her thumb up the outside of his penis, then kissed the head.

“Fuck, Jenn.”

She pulled his boxers down below his knees and pushed him backwards, onto the bed.

“So, you like this ass?” she asked, pulling down the sweatpants she was wearing.

Does he?
