Why not?

I mean, it's one of the advisors right? Gotta be, but I don't recognize the voice. Someone new? Someone I just haven't heard before? Either way they had a good point. I can wish for more power, something that'll make ME stronger so I won't be such a weak link compared to my summons. "A wish wouldn't hurt, right?" I asked myself, slowly thinking about it more. The advisors in my head were all silent, nothing seemed to be muffled anymore. Maybe they were contemplating or discussing it with each other?

"I wish for more power, the kind of power that will make me stronger, that can help remove any weaknesses." I did it. I made the wish. What happened next was almost indescribable. It felt like a bomb was going off inside my body, I felt bones crack and shake inside my flesh, felt a tremendous headache, it even felt at one point like my flesh was going to melt off my hands... but I managed to stay conscious through it. I bit into my lip hard enough to draw blood, and to try and keep myself from screaming in pain, but it worked.

It took nearly 10 minutes but the pain finally passed... I picked myself up off the floor, slowly climbing up onto my bed and allowed myself to fall asleep once my body had calmed down and the pain had stopped. My last thoughts being that I'd check my menu's AFTER I'd woken up. The pain and exhaustion hitting me too hard to stay awake any longer...

???: "Damn you NORMAN! WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?!" A man with an eye patch practically roars out, a red headed man in a business suit smiling like a psychotic cat that ate a canary responding a moment later.

Norman: "I merely REMINDED him that he can simply WISH for more power! All this training is good yes, and he's growing stronger BUT! To overcome his weaknesses he NEEDS more POWER!" He exclaimed with positive glee at the events that took place.

???: "Osborn... You may have placed him in danger with this, that is NOT what we are here for." This voice came from a man wearing what appeared to be a green tunic, his body covered in what looked like incredibly strong armor. His voice makes Norman turn and look back, practically scoffing at the pushback he was receiving for getting them MORE POWER.

Norman: "Now now Doctor. There's no need to worry, surely whatever was given to him will be exceptionally useful! Besides he worded the wish well enough don't you think?" Norman looks upset here a bit, clearly not understanding why he would ever NEED to explain himself to any of these people. It's clear he views them all as beneath him and especially his genius.

???: "I think that will be enough from you as an advisor. Evidently we'll need someone else as you clearly can't be trusted." Norman spins around, ready to yell at the one that spoke, only to freeze a moment as he see's a man in a spider themed costume in front of him. That's all the warning he gets before he's suddenly dropped down a portal and vanished from the advisors room.

Waking up in the morning I started by going through the morning routine I usually did, from there I remembered the wish I'd made the night before and brought up my menu to see what I'd gained from my wish. My jaw proceeded to drop at what I saw.

Congratulations! Through wishing you have gained the power, Material Absorption! Eat anything in order to become stronger, food or otherwise! Your mouth will no longer be damaged by whatever you eat. Be careful though! This ability will need to be used a LOT before your able to absorb higher quality materials.

That was NOT something I was expecting to see, but this... isn't this something that'll be REALLY strong in the long run? I wasn't able to muse much about that for the time being though, as shortly after seeing this screen I heard Jade come out of her room, Shiva exiting from another spare room as they both were prepared for the day. Jade wore a business suit to act as a secretary while keeping to her body guard duties, while Shiva would keep herself hidden in the shadows. Today was an important day after all, today I was meeting and making a few more deals. I'd check on the progress of the shelter being built later, today though we were in Jump city so I could close on a deal.

I did notice something though just after everything was signed and dealt with... Were Jade and Shiva's clothes... tighter? It looked like they would need a shopping trip soon, their outfits were like a second skin, even more so than their usual assassin attire. I did end up asking if Jade would like to make a stop for some clothes, explaining that the suit seemed a bit too dangerously tight for business. "Ah, we can handle that ourselves later. While your out, your safety is our top priority after all." Shiva explained. She thanked me for the concern but seemed very much like they didn't want to discuss it. Fair enough. I offered them some additional funds once I arrived back at the hotel, before they headed out.

While they were gone I took care of some more business through a few phone calls, setting up meetings and getting things prepared. As for what I was doing in Jump city? Well every good business needs to expand to reach a larger audience, and this seemed like a good place to start building the next shelter. If I wanted these shelter's to be able to help as many people as possible, I couldn't ONLY have them in the city I was staying in after all. First was Star city, Jump city would be second, with Central, Metropolis and finally Gotham as being the most immediate concerns. Beyond that the Shelters would be built in every major city they could be through the hiring of numerous construction groups and hopefully some powered beings that could assist in the effort for some exceptionally good pay.

Finding people with powers suited for such things wouldn't be easy, but I did still have a reward to choose from. One of the bonuses offered from the last training session would grant me something that could help here apparently. Something that could go through files rapidly and search for any information that could be found, to say nothing of the effectiveness of it's hacking capabilities. So with that thought in my head, I would get started on it once I had time.

For now though I needed to get another base of operations set up while I was here in Jump city. Better to prepare in case it was needed right? So I found an apartment complex that was abandoned, bought up the property and land it was on, and by the end of that week I had local construction crews helping to make it into a new livable building. It had been abandoned due to it being closer to the coast and having suffered damages from local criminals, apparently it had been used by numerous thugs and gangs until I'd gotten hold of it. To say it was in disrepair was an understatement. With pest problems, damaged walls and floors, not too mention how it had been mismanaged for years, this place was little more than a money pit so unfortunately I had to start fresh.

The building was torn down quite quickly, it was easy when it was practically held together with spit and broken dreams. With that construction began faster than I'd anticipated, I was paying quite a bit extra for them to complete the work as soon as possible but... Perhaps I shouldn't have offered even MORE pay the sooner it could be fully constructed. I found the team getting larger and rapidly getting to work, like a Vegas construction job they worked seemingly non stop for every bit of extra pay they could get.

I spent nearly a month there in Jump city, getting everything set and started for the shelter, the business expansion and even the additional base of operations. It would take a LOT longer to get everything done but I was rapidly approaching the end of my 1st year without my family around anymore. Needless to say I still refused to go back to Gotham where they were buried. It was easy to throw myself into my work harder than before, it helped to keep my mind off the memories.

Not much longer after that I was spending more time with Jade, and saw that she seemed to be getting a bit thicker. Jade's body had gained some slightly more defined muscle sure, her thighs, rear and chest though had DEFINITELY grown as well. Within day's of noticing this I also experienced Jade dressing more... provocatively around me. It didn't help that Shiva's more athletic form had gone through a similar change, or that she was dressing to attract the eye as well. I tried asking if they were attempting to distract me or attackers, Jade giggled but Shiva smiled at me and suggested that perhaps I should build up more of a... tolerance to their beautiful forms...

The following few days were... a bit surprising so to say. We first returned to Star city and within a week the ladies were waking up each day wearing considerably LESS to breakfast than I'd expected. Leading eventually to Jade coming out completely topless, Shiva standing near me and doing nothing to cover my eyes or Jade's body as she spoke up. "Morning Jade, you seem to have had another growth spurt~" I turned my head only to nearly **** on my breakfast at the sight. Jade's beautiful smooth skin on display, her athletic body, thick things along with the MUCH larger chest she was now sporting. "These have grown a LOT lately, I used to be a high C low D-cup but now? I think I've hit H-cup territory now~" I heard Jade's voice ring out, practically singing it out, before she looked straight at me and even shook her chest a bit with a huge smile on her face.

Shiva explained a bit louder than I think she meant too, about how Jade was nearing HH-cup actually. I found myself barely a minute later getting hugged from behind suddenly by Jade wearing her underwear and a top that was stretched to the limit only BARELY covering her massive chest as she rubbed against my back for a few moments. Jade even went so far as to suggest we go for a date night soon. Not wanting to mess anything up I wanted to ask my advisors but got no chance, one of them answering before I could ask the question. I agreed to her date night, and was treated to the sight of Jade grabbing her breakfast across the table a moment later. Cleavage with such a DEPTH to it was VERY difficult to simply ignore, thankfully Shiva nor Jade seemed upset at my little moment of being jaw dropped.

Anyways, with the breakfast over and dealt with now we were heading off to deal with the business of the day. It didn't take too long honestly, this day was less intense thankfully. While out dealing with things, doing whatever shopping was needed, and in Jade's case getting her clothes tailored or some new ones, eventually we were left with tons of spare time. I did notice a vehicle had been following us throughout the day, but other than that nothing really of interest on this day. We returned back for me to handle the last few things which let to at long last... it was time to claim the bonus reward from the training and get it working.

It was some sort of robotic head? Connecting it to my computer, or the business, not too mention getting it up and running would take a bit of time, possibly even longer to get it's priorities set up correctly. I was given options to try and help set it up, multiple menu's coming up that I would have to work through in order to get it fully functional. Thankfully I was able to set it to automatically integrate with my powers as well as the nearly completed super computer in my main base. I was about to head out and get ready for my date when I froze.

"Hello master. I am here to assist you in your endeavors. Your choice to connect me to your powers immediately was smart. This will allow me to better help you accomplish your objectives. I shall do my very best to help you however I can." I stared back at the robotic head, gulping for a moment only to take a breath to try and calm myself. "Thank you. Do you have a name?" I asked it, the voice sounded heavily robotic, too much so to be a particular gender it sounded like.
