Business continued..

Over the next month the factory was renovated, the buildings were torn down so we could start construction soon. Paying for the new homes of the people that had been moved was expensive but worth it, I spent most of my time working and getting things set up in advance. Thankfully most of it was easy to set up, it just took more money than anything I'd expected. As for the Shelter I needed to build, well... I decided to put my summons to work, having the construction area essentially dug down deeper. The shelter was MASSIVE in terms of the plans alone, the majority of it was meant to be underground deep enough to not effect any other systems of course. With such a building project I of course used the knowledge shared with me by, well I've simply started calling them my advisors. The ones my powers had connected to my mind, brilliant business and scientific minds. The main ones that advised my actions being Wilson Fisk, a Doctor Doom, Tony Stark, Bruce Banner, Matt Murdock, Peter Parker, Nick Fury, Steve Rogers, Frank Castle, all of which gave advice on their own area's of expertise though none had helped me yet during my training trips.

During this period I learned why, apparently I would have to go in ALONE to benefit from their advice during my training, which to my surprise gave me both -90% exp gain AND +100% Skill exp gain. So my abilities with my powers and skills would grow much faster, though my level itself would likely struggle to level up. It was described as... like having a martial arts grand master hold your hands and move your body to teach you different styles of kung fu. Apparently the effect would become less effective as I trained more, fluctuating depending on my actual level and the level of my skills.

Moving on though, during this period I continued to take Jade out to dinner. It was a nice break from things and helped since training was essentially off limits for the time being. We discussed many things, I learned more about her amidst talking about the next moves for Nexus holdings. Eventually we started hearing about more people running around, those with powers and those without, both wannabe hero's and villains. Jade suggested I be more careful throwing money around, not wanting me to make her job more difficult. I agreed with her on that. If someone like the Batman showed up here looking into me? I could barely begin to guess as to what he'd find. I doubt it would be anything from AFTER I left Gotham but still, better not to risk getting more attention on me for now.

By the end of the following month though, there were so many it was honestly quite difficult to keep track. There were even some idiots playing at being a copycat of criminal's and vigilante's both, though they either got put behind bars fast or ended up being found by the criminal they were copying... Those stories didn't end well..

Finally here we are, about 4 months after the last training session when Shiva returns to assist with watching over me and deterring any threats. Nexus Holdings has announced it's new push into the Clothing and Fashion industry. Our first shipment was already sent out and had sold out lightning quick, thanks to our products being extremely well made and with additional features or alterations that our competitors simply refused to do for seemingly no reason. Turns out high quality skirts and dresses with pockets makes a difference in sales. Who knew? While all this and more has been going on, I got another notification while using my Summoning.

Congratulations! Elemental Summoning has reached level 7! You can now summon the elements: Fire, Ice, Wind, Earth, Lightning, and now you can summon Light and Dark Elementals. You can also now summon a new tier, that being Legendary tier. WARNING: Higher tier summons are more difficult to summon and so can take more time. Elemental Summoning max number has also changed. You can now up to summon 10 at once, depending on the summons tier, and your max summons limit is now at 50 per element.

"HUH?! Was I reading that right? Did that say PER ELEMENT?! So for example like 50 fire AND 50 ICE SUMMONS?! Holy fuck! I'm a summoning MONSTER!" Needless to say I was glad to have gotten this notification while I was alone, still though the shock stuck with me for awhile. Particularly when it fully clicked that I could summon a max of 50 with ALL the elements. It was good to feel like I could really overwhelm enemies, or that I could really help with rescue efforts and whatnot... BUT I was unfortunately feeling constantly reminded that I myself was NOT a powerhouse like my summons. They were scaling off my mental stats, so it made sense to keep increasing them sure but to not feel like I was really getting stronger myself still wasn't something I was a fan of...

I heard in my head, strangely enough. Sounded like it was echoing, but familiar as well. I heard one of the advisors try to speak but something... blocked them I think? It was like the mic was being covered up, all muffled and quiet. I felt like I should be concerned but... were they wrong? I mean it was a good point right? I'm not making myself more powerful, not REALLY. Just wishing for more power wouldn't pull the attention I warned about onto me... right?
