Back a step

Your hand had still been hovering over the keyboard so you quickly moved to go back to a picture instead of getting rid of it completely. You had thought you’d be safe as the woman wasn’t in frame but you could see the dildo attached to the glass shower wall, smaller in the background but still there if someone was paying close enough attention.

Jessica however didn’t give you much more of a chance as the door opened and she looked over at you and Grace, her eyes briefly pausing on you before giving Grace a smile.

“Hey, sorry to interrupt but I couldn’t hear either of you talking and I just wanted to see if… to see if I was missing out on anything” Jessica announced.

She stopped briefly and you wondered if she had noticed what was on the screen until you realised her eyes had been fixed on Grace, quickly looking away when she noticed you had seen where she was staring. Your eyes flicked over to Grace who was still slightly flushed and her nipples poked through her top.

You already knew Jessica had a crush on Sarah so her finding Grace attractive was hardly a surprise given how gorgeous she was. You just counted it as a blessing that Grace was acting as a very good distraction as Jessica hadn’t even bothered looking anywhere near the screen.

“No, nothing too interesting. Just some old files” you replied to Jessica, taking a moment to casually turn and exit out of the picture before she looked at it any closer.

“...Yeah we were just about finished reviewing it. If you wouldn’t mind taking a copy of that Max, I’ll go over it again later” Grace requested, standing up and pretending to dust off her legs to keep her occupied rather than show how much she truly wanted to look at the pictures.

“Sure thing, I’ll just finish up and then join you both outside” you replied, Grace taking the hint to lead Jessica outside.

You were sure you had seen a flash drive at some point in your repair work and it only took a few moments to find what you were looking for, slotting it in in the hope that it still worked and then you could copy all the files over to look at later.

What you saw however was that there were already some things on the drive, making you roll your eyes at yourself for not having checked this in the first place.

Interestingly enough it was another set of photos and after scrolling through all the titles, you saw another video mixed amongst them as well.

You didn’t want to get caught snooping so quickly after Grace and Jessica had left but your curiosity got the best of you and you couldn’t help but look at at least one picture in the album.

You clicked randomly and saw the same woman but in a new location, still a bathroom but looking like something public with the way it was laid out. It looked surprisingly similar to the employee changing room upstairs and while you hadn’t been in the women's changing room here at Mermaids, you could guess that this had been where this set of pictures had been taken.

The picture you had chosen showed the woman with just a towel wrapped around her and while you wanted to check the others, you didn’t have the time or the willingness to risk it when you could check these out later when you were at home. Or with Grace at her place.

Instead you just created a new folder on the drive and copied everything you could from the computer over and set aside all the other hard drives you hadn’t checked just in case you needed to check them later, hoping to find more pictures now that you knew they existed.

It didn’t take long for them to copy over and now you held the drive in your hands, ready to hand it over to Grace when you needed to. Your thoughts however turned towards keeping it for yourself, even if only for a short while and even when you knew it would be a bad idea to entertain those thoughts, you still couldn’t completely dismiss them as you felt the weight of the drive in your hand.

You couldn’t stay still and debate this either as you turned everything off and got up to head for the door, seeing both Grace and Jessica sitting behind the desk just near the door, making you thankful for not spending more time checking the new photos with them being so close.

Grace looked at you as you returned to the desk as if expecting you to hand something over but you just smiled and hinted with your eyes that you shouldn’t do that while Jessica was here, the thumb drive getting feeling heavier in your pocket when you didn’t get rid of it.

The two continued their conversation with only a small interruption from your presence so you were able to listen in and quickly caught up on what they had been talking about.

“Yeah even with exams they have been wanting us to attend practice and devote more time to that. I mean we do have to prepare for the game on Sunday but it still feels a little excessive” Jessica complained, the cheerleading taking up more time than she had expected at this time of year.

“I’d expect them to at least be a bit more lenient on you all. Surely they would understand this if it’s happened to the other students before you” Grace replied, looking disappointed at what Jessica was going through before her tone went more uplifting.

“Well, if you need less shifts for a little while, you know that… Grace went to suggest.

“Oh god no. I’d rather cut down on the cheerleading than have less shifts here” Jessica shot back, interrupting Grace.

You could see that Grace was flattered by how forcefully Jessica had responded but she had to try and not show it, having to be the responsible adult in situations like this.

“I appreciate your words but just do what’s best for your studies even if it is just for this week. Same for you Max” Grace looking your way to introduce you back into the conversation.

“I get what Jessica means, I enjoy my time here and I’d rather keep coming if I can. Plus this place would fall apart without me” You joked, both of them knowing damn well that you were not being serious.

“Whatever would I do without you” Grace joked back, pinching your cheek to tease you.

Grace however still didn’t look fully convinced that she should be keeping you away from your school activities but her expression seemed to change as if she had come up with her own solution to the issue.
