The real training begins.

After a while of training your bases, Kogai finally said.

"Well, I think you have all you need to start Shirayuki's training. She will not go easy on you though, so I had to make you prepared for what will come next, since you for sure will need it."

Afterwards, she went inside of the manor, leaving you alone, which made you ponder what you had to do for a second, before you sighed and finally decided to join Shirayuki, who was already training Rei and Douma some more.

"It seems like Kogai finished your training." Said Shirayuki with a light smile after she noticed you. "Do not worry, Adam, my training may be hard, but it will only get easier as time goes on. For now, I will tell you a little more about your Primal Lightning."

She then gestured to the two other girls training, Rei's foxy tail wagging slowly as she was fully focused on her spells, while Douma's wings trembled slightly because of the sheer amount of energy she had spent on her spells already.

"You see," Started Shirayuki. "Primal Magic is far powerful than normal magic because of one simple thing : its limit. It is only limited by your imagination, even though one tend to use ice more defensively and fire more offensively as an example. Yet, the contrary could be done. As for you, the lightning you bear can be used both offensively and defensively, and you will often see Primal Lightning users use it to stun their opponents before unleashing their full powers in one single blow. That is not a strategy I recommend, yet it will be a base for your training."

It was far more than you thought already, as you really only thought of the sheer destruction lightning could cause, but stunning your opponents ? It sounded very cool, and you liked it. Although you asked, since Shirayuki seemed to know better than stunning a foe before destroying it with one powerful blow.

"Why don't you recommend this strategy though ? Isn't it effective ?"

"It is indeed, for those who venture alone in dangerous places." She answered, her eyes on the two girls. "Yet you aren't alone, so you can't give yourself the luxury of doing so. But you will find the strategy suited to you and your party when the time comes. For now, I want you to destroy this illusion."

After she said this, Shirayuki snapped her fingers before saying "Master Illusion.", which made an illusion appear between her and you, a perfect illusion of her, not moving a muscle.

"You have the rest of the day to do it, and believe me, you will need this more than any training."

And before you could do or say anything, she was already going to see Rei and Douma to continue their training, leaving you a bit **** to train now, which you started doing.

You... Were absolutely not prepared for this. You tried to send a lightning strike to the illusion for an hour or so, unsuccesfully. You had no idea how to do it, how to make the destructive power of lightning go from you to the illusion, and you did try. Everytime you got even remotely close to sending something at the illusion, it was either a mere spark, that you didn't understand how you did, or a full blown lightning strike that you couldn't contain and liberated itself in a very powerful way, destroying the ground in front of you, but not getting to the illusion.

Yet you were fine making the power of lightning course between your hands, so what was the issue with this illusion ? There was something that you didn't understand in this, and by now, you knew that this was the key to your success in this training, but what could it be... You took some time to ponder this question silently, while you looked at Douma training her healing powers, and it made you wonder : how did healing work ? There had to be a sender and a receiver, but did they have to have the same kind of energy ? Did healers managed to, with time, make their healing spells evolve to a point where they just needed the receiver to have energy ? Or was it something else ?

You pondered this question while making electricity run through your left hand, looking at it while thinking, and suddenly, you had an idea. It was maybe a bit crazy, but it was worth a shot.
