The game begins

Immediately Keith and Jeff both take dominant positions on the board, using their powerful units to control the most valuable resources and avoiding direct conflicts with each other. James, as the raccoon, is playing both off each other while Brian is barely holding onto the 3rd most valuable resource in a guerilla battle against the intruding giants. As for you, everyone can build some minimal fortifications and infrastructure but as the otters you are the guy to go to if anyone needs good stuff built to last they needed to come to you, so even without holding any major resource points you were being given plenty of resources for your services.

As the game progresses it becomes clear that if the stalemate continues between Keith and Jeff then James will surely win. Brian is stuck holding his small territory so it's up to you to play King maker and choose who to give an edge to and hopefully eek out at least a second place finish.
