James is already there

James is the closest thing to a kindred spirit you know. He's smart as a whip, but painfully shy around people. You got the impression he was comfortable but not quite satisfied in life and a little too timid to do anything about it. He's also like you physically pretty frail and pale, spending most of your time in front of a computer did little for building muscles or tanning the skin.

When you come in he's at the table setting up a new war game where each player controls an army of woodland critters fighting and making alliances for dominance of the forest. Each of the factions has different strengths and weaknesses. Jeff has already decided to play the mighty bear faction. Which has few troops but each one is a power house. James picked the solitary raccoon which had a single slippery troop that focused on making alliances. You join them at the table waiting for Brian and his boyfriend Keith to arrive. You read through the remaining factions and choose to be the otter empire which has strength in building strong fortifications.

The three of you chat about the game for a few minutes before you hear a knocking at the door.
