Before the Fun Begins

The week had gone by fast for Alice. She had gone on her fake date with Gavin and it had gone surprisingly well, although she didn’t really like leading the guy on, but for now, it was just how things had to be. Monica guided Alice through the house until they made their way to the living room and then she left to give the four of them privacy. Alice looked into the room and saw Zack, Ashley, and Scarlett sitting there talking.

“Yeah, Sharon can be a bit possessive at times. We need to ease her into things.” Zack finally spoke up and Alice nodded.

“I just don’t want to cause any problems.” Alice said.

“You won’t just give it time and we will tell her.” Ashley said as she reached for Alice’s hand and led her over to a seat so that all of them could sit down and continue to talk.

“How did things go with Gavin, even though it is fake?” Zack asked.

“If I wasn’t more interested in you than I am him, I would for sure be going on another real date with him, so I guess you could say that it went well.” Alice said.

“That’s good. I hate that we have to do this to him, but I think it is for the best. I wouldn’t want Gavin to think that Zack took his girlfriend out from under him.” Ashley said.

“I can see the logic in doing this, but I don’t like leading him on. Hopefully I find a way to break up with him that doesn’t break his heart.” Alice said.

“Maybe on the next date you can mention that you only want to be friends for the time being so that you can figure out where things are going. That could make things easier when it comes time to call things off.” Scarlett said.

“That could possibly work.” Alice said.

“Well, let’s get off of that subject before we depress ourselves.” Ashley said and the others nodded in agreement.

“So, what were you three talking about when I showed up?” Alice asked.

“Not much. Some of what the night might hold.” Zack said.

“Speaking of that, what is the plan?” Alice asked.

“Well, we are going to show you some stuff and see if you are interested in trying them. There are a lot of things that can happen between the four of us.” Ashley said.

“Sounds great. Is there anything that I need to know before we start this though?” Alice asked.

“Most of the things are easy to be shown. I guess the major thing would be to let us know if you have any questions.” Ashley said and Alice nodded.
