Disband

Darius remembered a scene early in the novel where Dracula had exerted control over wolves, and had silenced and disbanded them with a simple gesture. He wondered if he could do the same. With all the students, except Ariana, distracted and looking outside, Darius concentrated on his connection to the wolves. With a thought he disbanded them, ordering them to leave and return to the woods.

The student who had spoken before spoke again. “They’re leaving!” He looked at Darius. “Professor Drago, what should we do?”

Darius looked at his frightened students, and had to **** his animalistic side down, for the scent of fear inflamed his hunger. “There is nothing to fear.” He said calmly. “But tonight I will disband class early. Return to your homes and dorms.” His eyes returned to Ariana, and he reached out with his mind to her, ordering her to stay behind as the other students left.
